ROUND 1
Round 1, Pick 15

Mike Jenkins
CB, South Fla.Strengths: A well-built cornerback, with long arms and athleticism that are tough to find in a cornerback his size. Has the foot quickness, loose hips and playing speed to turn and run with receiver off the line in press coverage. Can stay on the receiver's hip deep downfield. Reads the quarterback well on passes in front of him. Can close quickly on throws and has shown the ability to break up the pass or make the tough interception. Will deliver a hard hit when the receiver makes the ... Full analysis

ROUND 1
Pick Projected Player Pos. School
30 (30) Adarius Bowman WR Oklahoma St.

With WRs Terrell Owens and Terry Glenn getting up in age, the Cowboys need to reload for the future. Bowman would give them a big receiver who could learn from Owens.

Or we lost in the Super Bowl to the Colts. Either way, I'm pretty bummed about it. There's always next year I guess.

Me too, but don't forget we'll also need to get a RB to replace Julius Jones. Which RB do you like late in the 2nd round?

Jonathan Stewart baby. The man has size and speed to boot and can return kicks. I watched one game where it took like litterally 5 defenders to bring him down and then another play he was able to zoom by defenders.

I wouldn't be suprised if we anticipated MB as the starter and either signed a FA RB or drafted someone a little later than even round 2.

We may take a back in round 2. However I could see these as potential 2nd round picks also...

Actually if we lost in the super bowl we'd bepicking at 31. Us picking at 30 means he had us having the best record in the NFL outside the two teams who went to the superbowl.

Or he picked us in the SB. Remember, the Patriots will have to forfeit their pick

this year there are only 31 picks in the 1st round, because the Pats had to forfeit theirs. So it is possible for 30 to be a SB team. In fact, if the Pats don't make the SB, that means that 30 was definitely a SB team.

BTW, I do like that Mock......Jenkins and Bowman would be sweet. If we were to take a RB in the second round, I would like Mendenhall, Rice, or Savage. Actually, if he could cure his fumblitis, I would take Jamal Charles. However, I like Yvenson Bernard from Oregon St.

No you were right. If that Pats made the super bowl picking at 30 means we had the best record in the NFL outside the two superbowl teams. If the pats didn't make the superbowl picking at 30 means we lost in the superbowl, and tells nothing about our record.

Good picks. I've watch alot of Jenkins and I really like his play. I am not sure he is around at 15 however.

Wonderful, now I gotta watch both these guys to play to see what they're about. Is that Bowman kid quick? he's a pretty big guy, 6'4" 220lbs? Just checking on the web it says his 40 average is 4.53 which desn't strike me a particularly impressive, not that his 40 defines him or anything, don't get carried away, I just haven't seen him play.

They also rated him the 2nd best WR in college right now?

Bowman is awesome he has everything you look for in a Wide Reciever size, strength, plays identical to T.O., and one hell of a blocker. He is very underated. I wouldnt be suprise if he went in the top 15 when the draft roles around. He will be a super star in the NFL. Oh on his speed, he is probably going to run in the 4.4, people just assume that since he is big that he can not run, trust me he can run.
