I don't like the history of previous Oklahoma St. WRs trying to make it in the NFL... I'll pass on Bowman.

New coaching staff at Oklahoma State plus he is coached by the same person who coached Randy Moss so you decide for your self

4th rated WR

Height: 6-4. Weight: 215.
40 Time: 4.48.
Projected Round: Top 25 Pick.
In his first year at Oklahoma State, Adarius Bowman had 1,181 yards and 12 touchdowns. Caught 13 passes for 300 yards and four scores against Kansas. If Bowman runs a 4.4, he's definitely going in the top 20.

Height: 6-0. Weight: 200.
40 Time: 4.43.
Projected Round: Top 25 Pick.
Michael Jenkins was all over the place in South Florida's upset victory at Auburn. Jenkins intercepted a Brandon Cox pass and took it down to the Tigers' 3-yard line.

Jenkins was ranked higher until he was arrested this spring for fighting outside a bar. No charges were filed, but this could still set off a red flag; coaches and general managers are much more cautious now that Roger Goodell is piloting the NFL.

Well Bowman is a freak of nature compared to the other WRs they have had in the past. Also, OSU has been known as more of a running/option team than a passing team in the past.....Sure they passed, but nothing like they do now.

I have seen Bowman play 3 times this year. I cannot wait if UT can shut him down. I want him in Dallas next year.

I am hoping that in 2008 we will draft Bowman and in 2010 we will draft Crabtree. Then in 2010 our WR corp can potentially be Bowman, Crayton, Stanback, Crabtree, and one or two other guys.

Actually if we lost in the super bowl we'd bepicking at 31. Us picking at 30 means he had us having the best record in the NFL outside the two teams who went to the superbowl.

this year there are only 31 picks in the 1st round, because the Pats had to forfeit theirs. So it is possible for 30 to be a SB team. In fact, if the Pats don't make the SB, that means that 30 was definitely a SB team.

BTW, I do like that Mock......Jenkins and Bowman would be sweet. If we were to take a RB in the second round, I would like Mendenhall, Rice, or Savage. Actually, if he could cure his fumblitis, I would take Jamal Charles. However, I like Yvenson Bernard from Oregon St.
Hence we lost to the Colts.

Me too, but don't forget we'll also need to get a RB to replace Julius Jones. Which RB do you like late in the 2nd round?

Personally, I think our first pick will be higher than 15. Yes, the Browns are improved and do have some pretty good talent. But, I don't think there will be 14 teams that finish with a worse record than them. Their division is too tough.

Hey! We made the NFC Championship Game! But apparently lost.

It doesn't always work that way. The NFC / AFC losers don't necessarily pick 29th & 30th.

ROUND 1
Round 1, Pick 15

Mike Jenkins
CB, South Fla.Strengths: A well-built cornerback, with long arms and athleticism that are tough to find in a cornerback his size. Has the foot quickness, loose hips and playing speed to turn and run with receiver off the line in press coverage. Can stay on the receiver's hip deep downfield. Reads the quarterback well on passes in front of him. Can close quickly on throws and has shown the ability to break up the pass or make the tough interception. Will deliver a hard hit when the receiver makes the ... Full analysis

ROUND 1
Pick Projected Player Pos. School
30 (30) Adarius Bowman WR Oklahoma St.

With WRs Terrell Owens and Terry Glenn getting up in age, the Cowboys need to reload for the future. Bowman would give them a big receiver who could learn from Owens.

We may need a CB but there is no way that according to that mock does McFadden get past Dallas to Denver at 16. Won't happen. Jerry would not pass him up at 15.

Bowman would be a nice selection at 30 or 31 (hoping for the very last pick myself) for a WR but then I still think we go for a burner in the 2nd or 3rd round like DJ Hall WR out of Alabama. Actually Bowman and Stanback are very similar in size except Stanback is supposedly faster and I hope we find out soon on that.

Personally in the offseason and free agency before the draft, I would like us to get Romo and Newman signed for 5 or so years each and then trade Henry and Carpenter to Atantal for DeAngelo Hall who seems to be on the outs in Atlanta, then draft McFadden and Bowman (could also live with Limas Sweed at WR although not a UT fan).

As long as we are talking a bit of fantasy here then franchise Julius Jones and then trade him and Spears to Miami for their pick in the first round and take Chris Long at DE along with McFadden and Bowman.

Now you're talking.

Bowman will not be there at then #30 or 31st pick, he will end up being a top 15 pick. Bowman and Stanback are not the same size. Now they are close in height but Bowman is a 6'4 weighing 220 pounds. Like someone said he is a freak of nature, very underated right now. But as soon as the Senior bowl and combine comes up scouts will be lined up to see Bowman. He has as much potential as Calvin Johnson. Maybe not as far in advanced coming out of college right now but he is not very far away.
