2) Brandon Jacobs misses a good portion of the season due to a leg injury.

3) Denver: putrid. Oakland: wayward. Kansas City: competes for a playoff spot!

1) Philadelphia Eagles finish last in the NFC East at 7-9. Their offensive line woes and lack of depth on defense cost the team dearly.

2) Matt Ryan experiences the sophomore jinx. He's not the next Manning, he's the next Heath Shuler. That rookie season turns out to be a fluke, and he never lives up to the hype.

3) The first 7-9 team in NFL history to win a division will be the San Diego Chargers this year, and the NFC East will feast on that division during the regular season.

1. Matt Ryan and Joe Flacco show last year was a fluke. Both have passer ratings under 85 for the season and both throw more int's than tds.

2.Chaz Schillens(wr for oak) becomes a STAR player this year.

3. The Saints emerge as the best team in the NFC with Greg Williams making their defense respectable and Pierre Thomas being a stud RB.

1. Brett Favre to Minnesota will be an epic fail, and Minnesota will not win the NFC North. Farve will then retire for the 7th time.

2. The Tennessee Titans do not even make the playoffs.

3. The Eagles will fall apart by season's end, and the fans constantly chanting "Vick" will have Donovan McNabb once again start openly suggesting that he will be finishing his career elsewhere. The moment they signed Vick, the Eagles went from maybe 1st to 3rd in the division, IMO.
