What will these recent cuts (TO, RW38) do for the 2010 cap number. I know it hurts us this season, but what does it do for next season?

The dead money will come off the books.

Does it matter!! It is an uncapped year in 2010 meaning no salary cap, owners can spend as much or as little as they want.

Back to this season. Cutting TO cost us around 700K, but cutting RW38 saved us around $1.8 mil?

In 2010, I think TO would have been at least 9 million against the cap and RW38 would have been at least 7 million against the cap.

So you're talking at least 16 million in cap space right there.

I don't know the details but I don't think it's quite that way. They can spend but there are still restrictions. Assuming the cba isn't redone before then.
