2011 breakout defender

Anthony Spencer will have 10 sacks and be named a Pro-Bowl alternate.

Many of the choices mentioned are good ones and could very well happen, but i am gonna say Bradie James. My reasoning is because i think he is smartest of the group and i think he will pick up the defense the quickest. What he does have over a Sean Lee or Victor Butler is he is a starter and will play a lot more reps. Scandrick could have a very good year but i don’t think he will ever be a high INT type corner. He just doesn’t locate the ball quick enough, although his sack totals will likely triple this season. I think James will get to his first Pro Bowl. Smart, strong and tough. He fits the Ryan mold.

Josh Brent.

Or Sean Lee. I can't choose.

Josh Brent and it's not close.

Victor Butler as a distant 2nd.

I agree but that would be returning to form and not breaking out IMO.

It would be breaking out, He had a good final 6 games in 2009. I'm looking at a whole season.

Ya I see what your saying.

You beat me to it. I think Sean Lee is going to have a monster year. I'll go as far as saying he may just make the Pro Bowl.

If I could pick a second defensive guy, I'd have to say Mike Jenkins. Or at least that is who I am really pulling for. IMHO, Lee is a given. But I'm hoping for a big comeback type year from Jenkins.

Victor Butler is going to have beast of a season so i say victor butler
