For me - first part of the year C, later part, A. Middle grade: B.

He ran much harder and better after coming back and watching DeMarco tear it up.

Hard to grade considering the crap he has blocking for him. I'll go B-, knocked down to a C+ for missing more time this year.

A solid C. He's the second RB while filled in nicely when needed to. I still think he'd be better used as a WR...

A good change of pace back, but those are a dime a dozen. C.

I give him a C . He is just an average back , nothing more . The fact that he didn't step his game up until Murray broke out , speaks volumes .

The same oline play that Murray had ? I don't see much that separates him from your average running back .

This is a very interesting exercise. Do you grade someone on their absolute accomplishments? If so, he didn't do that well. Or do you do it relative to their role? Sure, he was pretty good given the number of carries he got. Or expectations? Or potential? At this stage, expectations and potential are two entirely different variables -- he's a former first rounder who we are more or less collectively happy if he sticks around as a productive backup to Murray.

Average most of the time, with flashes of brilliance balanced by frequent injuries.

I saw this guy make moves to gain positive yards where I doubt more than two other backs on the planet could have done and certainly no other back on this team.

For a guy who is supposed to be a game changer I didn't see many big plays from him. He made a lot of "good" plays but not many "big" plays. C

I gave him a D. Coming out of preseason everyone said how great he looked and how well of a season he was going to have. Well, he didn't do squat and was injured for several games... AGAIN. This guy under delivers every year. Glad Murray will be getting 90% of the carries this year. He is better and smarter.
