2012 NBA Playoffs Thread

Total tossup? C'mon man. There's no way in hell a team full of role players beats a team with 3 legit all stars in Bryant, Gasol, and Bynum.

Also Thunder are not winning the series in less than 6. Just not gonna happen. Dallas matches up very well with OKC and we all know Westbrook goes into Westbrick mode frequently. Plus OKC still has no answers for Nowitzki.

just thought id bring up this great piece of knowledge i read while looking back at the predictions for the challenge! :lmao2:

I was wrong about some series so what? Don't act like you've never been wrong about anything.

im not wrong when saying "no way in hell" i reserve that for sure things

everyone is making a big deal about the style a lot of the younger NBA players are rocking, but ill tell you one thing. I think its a LOT better than the old thug look that was popular 10 or 15 years ago (like AI)

Well I wasn't wrong because the Lakers did beat the Nuggets.

well, its hard to tell if you meant no way in hell the nuggets win, like the end of the sentence, or no way in hell its competitive, like at the beginning of your sentence, but ill just take your word for it and move on. either way it wasnt nearly as bad as juck trying to say griffin would dominate TD:laugh2:

I meant no way they would win lol. I picked L.A. in 6 so I knew it would be somewhat competitive.

I'm going down to San Antonio for the game tomorrow! I went to Game 4 of the Thunder/Mavs series, so here's hoping this one goes as well. :)

I honestly expect a great series. I really think that my Thunder and the Spurs are the two best teams in the NBA. I think it's a coin toss. The Spurs just look so dominant right now. But the Thunder seem to have cranked it up a notch for the playoffs and have faced tougher competition.

Here's to a fantastic series, Spurs fans!

That Celtics game last night was so sloppy I turned it off in the second quarter.

The Celtics are incapable of scoring any points on offense.

They should just forget about the ECF and just make the WCF the NBA Finals.

I think you will be in for another post bump before the playoffs are over.

You are right about that my friend. This series should be ugly, quickly.

My friend was over watching with me, and before we shut it off to watch Wedding Crashers, he said "first team to 80 wins - these two teams' offense sucks."

Sure enough they scored just over 80 points. If Chris Bosh can play at all in the Eastern Conference Finals, Miami will beat Boston in 4 games.
