As your team picks, we will be adding that player to your team's list. We'll also keep track of any gained/lost 2014 picks via trades. This will make it easier to grade each GM and how they fared in this process.

Once it's time to grade, keep in mind the ammo that particular GM was given him via our lottery. We should not downgrade anyone simply because they picked in the bottom half of round one or their team is short of draft choices. Simply put, grade them on their ability to make the most out of what they were given.

Players will be listed with the round they were picked in front of them and the overall draft choice in parenthesis. All gained, lost, original and remaining picks will be included.

Make sure to check out your class here. I'm not above making an error and this is what people look at when sending in grades.

Bucs(you're welcome Risen), Packers, 9ers, Steelers and Dolphins are my early favorites.

Not crazy about what I did with the Giants in retrospect. Kinda traded up just for the sake up trading up.

My only question is what's wrong with Terrence Williams for him to fall all the way to 57?

if sheldon richardson is there at 18 and the cowboys are stupid enough to trade out of that pick to take an average player like hankins, i think i will throw something at the TV

richardson is a difference maker

hankins is not

hankins is not

He made the trade before he was on the clock. So maybe he figured Richardson wouldn't be there. I don't know.

Reason why to never trade before you're on the clock.

Also never trade down 9 spots for a late 3rd round pick. (silli)

My picks

1) Sheldon Richardson DT
2) Jonathan Cyprien FS
3) Brian Winters OG

This would be an awesome start for the Cowboys.

Sheldon Richardson, DT (6-4, 295), Missouri
Richardson like Floyd is a Junior that is coming out early in this draft…runs very well…outstanding at chasing the ball…nice hustle play against South Carolina getting to the outside and causing a fumble on a screen…plays with balance…has a quick swim move…gets his hands inside to control blockers, can shed quickly…plays with initial quickness…Can change direction and redirect…will use a spin move on the pass rush to free himself…will tackle in space…can beat the block back…played some as a standup linebacker on certain schemes….three down player…really does a nice job of playing with awareness…hard guy to fool…could go either way with him or Floyd and be happy but see a little more in Floyd.

Jonathan Cyprien, 6-0, 209, Florida International
Like Vaccaro of Texas in that he will play all over the defense deep or in the box….what I really like about him is his ability to cover ground…when the ball goes in the air, you see him on his horse to get there….had a pretty interception against Louisville playing out of center field…can pedal, turn and run…can really drive on the ball when it is in front of him…has the size to carry tight ends up the field and will fight them for the ball…did get beat out of the slot by a receiver on a back shoulder throw…not afraid to come up and take on linemen that pull…is a blow’em up type of tackler…will bring some violence and not afraid to take a shot at receivers when they cross the middle…if he has a weakness it is that he doesn’t always wrap up…had this happen to him a couple of times against Duke which one of these misses resulted in a touchdown but did make an open field tackle against Arkansas State that did save a touchdown…you don’t have to worry about him standing around piles.

You were sending in picks for absent GMs. You should run a team next year.

Great job with this Risen Star. Thanks for all your hard work. I apologize for missing my last pick yesterday. I was painting my daughters room yesterday and just lost track of time.

Could not agree with you more
3 very very good starters with the first 3 picks

Then look at how our draft went down

This is a good example of what the effects of one bad decision can be because of the resultant domino effect

First of all, if RS was commish, any pro secondary posts would result in immediate banning ;-)

In terms of the thread, I don't love Hankins in the first, but I'd cream if we grabbed Rambo that late in the third.

I agree that trading down early can be perilous and trading down 9 slots in the first round should bring you much more than a late 3rd.

But I did like his pick at 27 IF you wanted to grab a 1 technique in the 1st round, John Hankins is a solid choice.

I had an issue with the 2nd pick. I think Tank will go much later than that.

The bottom line is that whoever drafts for the Cowboys in these mocks will get scrutinized by those who did not have their pet cats taken.

I actually like Cyprien, but it is also very debatebale as to whether he is worth that 47th pick...compared to what was available there.

And hey, for all we know we'll look back in three years and see Hankins as a star and Richardson as a massive bust. Crazier things have happened, and do happen every year.
