***2013 NFL DRAFT ROUND 4, 5, 6 and 7 Discussion Thread***

@LanceZierleinFor as much crap as I've given Cowboys about taking a center in round 1, the rest of their draft has been solid

If Lawrence Okoye is there in the 6th round, why not take him. Just for fun
:laugh1: Might as well, he will be an expensive FA, probably have to pay him in pounds.

How do you trade up? Give up a 6th or 7th from next year? Is that a good idea?

Would probably have to be a 6th next year, which is the equivalent of a 7th this year. You gladly give that up if you think you're getting a player.

Ratliff ha been a declining player for three years...Floyd was number 7 one cowboys draft board, Minny is laughing at the cowboys for letting him slide to them, and they run a tampa 2 defense... Floyd's a disruptive player, he's Russell Maryland with more ability,..this nonsense about sacks is ridiculous, Leon Lett never had more than four sacks in a season but he was disruptive in the middle, tackles for loss, getting the QB off his spot or forcing him to throw early, running backs forced to stop and change direction, that alone that's been missing in dallas since Glover left...

so what is your explanation for all the other teams that passed on him?

Well I thought Bailey would've been long gone by now, so maybe I'm missing something. I still think he's going to be a solid NFL starter.

Agree. He could start for us day one and be a solid gaurd for years to come. One of the best values left on the board.

Isn't it obvious? They picked other player?

I would be happy if we took one of Reid Fragel, Chris Faulk, or Alvin Bailey with our last pick.

We need to sign Spencer long term and look at Clabo, Moore and either Okoye or Idonoje.

Even Mickey admits this team needs more emotional energetic players.

Outside of the first round fiasco, this has been a pretty solid draft. We got a really bad shake this year in the first though, so maybe it's forgivable - especially since I don't even like Floyd.

If we can cap this thing with a tackle, guard or DE, I'll be even happier.

Okeye was a first round talent if he doesn't come our defensive line coach has given up on him.

I can't believe he is still there. Most "experts" had him going in the 3rd or early 4th.

Yea I'm no expert but I need to change my sig..

That "fiasco" landed us Williams. I'm fine with that kind of fiasco.

Stay where we are and find a player in 6th.

Start working the phones for your Free agents.

plenty of reasons, how many teams play a tampa 2, how many teams play the 3-4 defense, higher value early in drafts on QB's, defensive ends and offensive tackles....after the 17th pick was announced Clearly Garrett and Ciscowski were estatic because Floyd was still there and then things changed, Jerry and Steven wanted to trade back, Garrett and an animated Ciscowski whole attitude changed in the room...Floyd was ranked 7th on the cowboys board...bad move all the way round to trade back and then taking a third round center in the first round..

I know it is super early but my eye ball test is looking at Titans draft to be one of the best thus far.
