What: 2014 Mel Kiper Jr. Invitational
When: Monday, February 17th, 2014 @ 8am EST
Where: Draft Zone
Why: Because we all want to be Mel Kiper Jr. Or at least run our fingers through his hair.
Just seeing if there's interest to do one this year. Even though the draft has been pushed back to May, I'd like to keep the Invitational in February before the combine. Makes it more challenging to project the players' value in the draft before the combine and personal workouts. The risers and fallers occur after our mock.
I am in. You are invited. Until we reach 32. Please do not sign up unless you have the time or will be prepared with player lists to send me when you are on the clock.
Once we have the field set we'll assign teams. Then, after the Super Bowl and the draft order is set, I'll post the main mock draft thread you may be familiar with from previous years and open it up for trading. If this is your first time in this mock please read the rules in that post at that time.
Thank you to Reality for allowing me to do this again and the staff here that have always been helpful and accommodating. I hope a lot of them join in this year.
And if there isn't any interest in this, hey....I'll just declare myself the winner by forfeit and move on to 2015. No skin off my nose.
