No way we play Saturday.
The lowest seeds get the short week in both AFC and NFC.
Carolina/Arizona on Saturday and Dallas/Detroit on Sunday.
Similar setup for the two AFC games.

Unless they've changed all the rules on me, TV doesn't get to choose which day teams play.

Yep - I heard on Fox we play on Sunday but the league hasn't announced anything yet.

What paper is that, the Onion? Our point differential is 115, theirs is 39. Football Outsiders ranks us 6th, Detroit 13th. Football Reference's Simple Rating System has us well ahead of them. In what sense are they better than us on paper?

Yes. Them the edge at every level defensively. Second best defense in the league. Plus a very talented offense with Stafford bush tate and megatron. While dallas doesnt have much defensively. So overall yeah I would say as a whole they are more talented but don't play as well as dallas on the field.

It's not a push a LB. Levy is a beast. And their secondary is much much better. Second best defense in the league. Detroit has more talent on defense at every level. Overall Detroit has more because they have talent on both sides of the ball. As we only have it on offense. But like I said, it doesn't translate to the field for detroit.

Here's what I'm predicting. I'm thinking the Cowboys game will be the marquee game on Sunday evening.

Carolina at Arizona will likely be the late Saturday game. Cincinnati at Indy (if Cincy loses tonight which I think they will) being the other Saturday game and Baltimore at Pittsburgh the early Sunday game.

If Pit and Baltimore play it will go like this IMO

When it comes to the playoffs, I always favor the tougher, more well rounded teams than individual matchups. I think we're way ahead of the Lions in that regard
