What's interesting is that the pace of the offense this year is noticeably quicker, but we are scoring a little less, but giving up a lot less points.

I also think what's interesting is that by this point in 2014 I was think we had less holes on the team that need to be filled for 2015. We were starting to see what DeMarco was made of, Romo seemed to have about 2-4 yeas left in the tank, we needed to re-sign Dez which shouldn't be an issue and we could re-sign Beasley fairly cheap and the O-Line was set.

Defensively, Tyrone Crawford looked like a stud DT for years to come, we had Lawrence at DE, Hitchens and McClain were working at LB and with Lee we would just be better. It just seemed like we could *use* a weakside DE, and probably needed to get better at corner and I was never nutty about Church.

This team I think has more pressing needs for the future. I think we probably need to look at WR as Dez's health is a concern. The same with TE and we have to figure out what we'll do at LG since Leary has been clearly better than Collins and Leary's contract expires. We still badly need DE help and MIKE help and hope that Jaylon Smith can eventually replace Lee. And we still need to look at corners and a replacement for Barry Church.

The big thing is that we are looking really good at QB and EE looks like the best RB in football already.

With all due respect, who gives a **** about 2014. Today is November 4th, 2016. 2014 ended in disaster, let's hope this year ends very well.

We're so desperate for Super Bowls, we can't let go of 2014. Everyone is so mesmerized by 2014, they simply forget that it's over.
