It wouldn't matter who is the qb if the defense doesn't get better players. I can understand if it's a luck type player. Or in the 3rd or 4th round I'm fine with but picking a qb in the 1st or 2nd over defensive players that can start right now would be a mistake in my eyes. You might as well as cut romo because your not helping him or the team win now.

You should look at the mock I did last night.

Well we still have alot of football left college and pro and alot still left to do before the draft in April. I don't look at mocks until 2 weeks before the draft because right now it's a waste of time.

No I didn't look at the whole mock. I clicked to see what people reply were.

The biggest problem with the. Ow boys are the fan base. How any just jump from o e side to another and want this and that and doesn't understand how the nfl works.
Like I read a guy that wanted to release romo and sign Suh and Bryant. Then draft a qb. Ah there's a salary cap for one and I hate when people think and rookie qb can just come in and start and play better than romo.

Weeden, Gabbert, Ponder were all top 1st round quarterbacks and they all suck.

Cam, RG3, Locker are all worse than Romo too. I just don't understand why people think any rookie qb will be great and better than romo.

Look romo isn't going anywhere any time soon. I think spending a top pick on a qb now when there will be players that can start day one and help the team more than some rookie qb. But to each their own.

I completely agree with you that Romo is our best option. I'm probably the biggest Romo defender on this board.

But like you just said, I don't want to be starting a rookie QB down the road, so I think we should start looking now.

I'm fine with looking now but not in the 1st or 2nd round. We need to use 1st and 2nd round picks on building this team and getting players that can help day 1.

Yeah. I honestly like Cook as a pro prospect. Also that Stanford QB, not remembering his name right now.

I also like Mannion alot. He looks like a legit pocket QB.
Agree on cook and manion, believe you're talking about hogan at Stanford. His delivery is way too slow and he still makes a lot of questionable decisions.
