Was wondering what some of you think of this list. Aside from the general consensus of Adrian Peterson and Suh, who else do you think is a candidate to wear the star.

Fairley would be a good option at 1 tech BUT. I would bet on Bishop dude has a motor and I think with a off season he might blossom

Jerry Hughes, DE. Buffalo moving to 3-4 under Ryan. Hughes is a 4-3 end. 20 sacks in last two years.

If we lost Murray, I'd take a flier on Shane Vereen on a cheapie deal. He's been okay, but i really thought he'd be much better coming out of Cal. Still just 25. Very little wear and tear. Catches and blocks very well.

Also, NFL.com has additional pass rush options listed under OLBs

John Abraham, Arizona Cardinals
Sam Acho, Arizona Cardinals
Marcus Benard, Arizona Cardinals
Kroy Biermann, Atlanta Falcons
Dwight Freeney, San Diego Chargers
Brandon Graham, Philadelphia Eagles
Justin Houston, Kansas City Chiefs
Pernell McPhee, Baltimore Ravens
Derrick Morgan, Tennessee Titans
Brian Orakpo, Washington Commanders
Brooks Reed, Houston Texans
O'Brien Schofield, Seattle Seahawks
Dan Skuta, San Francisco 49ers
Jason Worilds, Pittsburgh Steelers

I like Jason Pierre Paul to give us a pass rusher.

Not impressed by any of the running backs.

i like JPP too, but maybe i am just used to seeing him. the others may be just as good or better

i think forsett, and ingram go off. i really like Forsett...

My top choice is Pernell McPhee (6-3, 280). He plays in a 3-4 as both an OLB and DE. He had 7.5 sacks as a backup player. He is miscast in the 3-4, IMO. He should not be too expensive.

I would check into the specifics of Greg Hardy's personality if he is acquitted. I think his trial is in Feb.

I would look at Buster Skrine as a replacement for Carr at CB.

can you post the CB list. despite all the DL and RB talk, CB is a priority this offseason.

I remember liking Tyson Alualu during the draft......anyone watch the jags, how was he?
Also wouldn't he play the 3 for us?

IIRC, he was a 4-3 DT and then the Jags switched him to Strong Side DE this year. He was a backup this year but started 64 of 64 games in prior seasons. At 6'2.5, 295 he seems more like a 3-tech than SDE.

Based on that list of defensive ends I'm tempted to go all in for Suh and pick up an end or two in the draft.
