Dont include the bye week, easier to tally, and see how many games you get right.

We will get the usual bad layout of games. Guaranteed at least 3 cold weather games in December. Pittsburgh and GB and a NFCE team or 2 NFCE teams and GB.
We know at GB is a given. We know 4 of our last 6 will also be on the road.

We could get Pittsburgh the Sunday before the T-Day game. Potential cold weather game and a tough hard hitting game. With 3 days to recover.
Just don't let any of the first 2 games be against NFCE team. But with gregory suspended, they will give us harder games the first 4 games. Not that he is the big difference maker, but he could be.

I actually did this after the end of the season the first week of January.

at Vikings, to open up their new stadium, so a cold weather late December match does not matter. Ratings, SNF
Eagles
Lions
at 49ers
Bengals
Ravens
at Browns
bye
Buccaneers
Commanders
at Giants
Bears
at Eagles
at Steelers
Giants
at Packers
at Commanders

May flip the road games of giants and Commanders in December.

Cowboys will be at Lambeau in December for no other reason other than to double down on showing Ice Bowl clips

We'll play GB and Pittsburgh after thanksgiving when it's cold and they're coming off a bye or long week. We'll be coming off a short week.

And probably a trip to either NY or Philly as well. You can bet your house that the GB game will be in Dec, to screw the Boys and to be sure the networks can show the obligatory 80 replays of the Ice Bowl qb sneak.

All I hope is that we don't open with NY again. Tired of that. Although we have their number.

yeah me too, my guess is based partly on hope for something different!
I dont want to start with any NFC East team, as they are all meh and it would be a rather meh 1st game.
Dallas vs Pitt would be classic matchup against a good team. and it would be colorful.
more so than later in the year when one or both teams might be not so good.

That is the thing about having dallas play a team like GB late in the year as opposed to early, last year it was a boring game,
dallas was awful and a loser, and GB was not as good as they normally are.
Had they played game one it would have been much more exciting, and a rematch from the playoff "catch" game.
much better than the giants game we had.

Also we have had giants 3 times in a row, except for SF in 14, which is boring, and things seem to go in 3's, so if you go back past 3 years,
we open with the jets, and then wash and I think SD.
So if not a nfce team it should be a afc team.

The off week will most likely be at week 4 once again...that or 5.

All I know is that we will play 3 to 4 of the following teams coming off their bye-week/mini-bye: Giants, Pittsburgh, Green Bay, Baltimore or Cincinnati.
If the league can slip in a couple of other scenarios like last year (Monday at Commanders then Sunday at Green Bay with them on a 10-day rest in December), I can see that happening, too.

BOOM! I forgot about that. It was cute seeing the league squeeze in 4 division games in the first 9 weeks when Hardy was initially slapped with a 10-game suspension. I smell one game each against the Commanders and Giants in the first 4 weeks.

I'm still wondering if we will be the first 4-12 team to play the maximum allowed national TV games...

good point my guess is they will still get a lot of them.
It would take more than one year at 4-12 to change that.
Also fans are Romo hungry since he didnt play much last year.

Well not a conspiracy, it is dallas fault, they have players suspended, not the leagues fault, so they will schedule without that in mind.
Dallas has to play somebody in those first 4 games, and some will be tough, and some will be div.

The only thing here is if one team has a short week, they should not have to play another team, coming off a bye or longer than normal
rest, and that means all teams not just dallas.

I dont like bye weeks spread out thru the year, some teams get them too early, and some too late,
They should be 2 weeks at mid season where 1/2 of the teams get a bye, and then next week the others get their bye, and then it is
done , over with, and they all get a mid season week off to rest up.

The NFL released the schedule one day prior to announcing Hardy's suspension. The last time we played back to back division rival games in week 1 & 2 goes back to 2002. I'm not a conspiracy guy, but it's strange how the Commanders (who just got done flipping the finger to the league about changing their name), who sucked in 2014, we're given the 2nd worst break in the schedule for 2015, us 3rd worst. Just things to think about: http://www.footballperspective.com/...mpa-bay-extra-rest-and-the-2015-nfl-schedule/
