Tony Romo's back and collar bone with Kellen Moore as backup. Dez' broken foot and Witten's age with a collection of incomplete receivers supporting them. Cast-off running backs behind a massive line. Winging it at defense end and cornerback. Drug suspensions and possible drug suspensions. 12-4 or 4-12?

2016 is going to feel like.....(turn up your speakers!)

Dallas will get it's QB, Maziel on the way! lol

Cereal though Fruitloops, there are handfuls of QBs that Dallas would Draft in the 3rd Day that could be better than Goff/Wentz in 3-4 years. Driskoll, Prescott, Jones, Allen, Hogan ect. ect.

Like DT depth at the top, it's just a terrific year for a late round QB. May not be a better year for the two positions EVER before or after 2016.

If Manziel ever gets dried out, it wouldn't shock me.

It's always a wild ride. I don't worry about collar bones or footbones or whatever. We do need to backup the QB position and we need to add defensive talent. But the team isn't without it's good young players, too. This should be a good draft for us, and we're doing the right things organizationally. We just need a long term plan at QB and we'll be ok.

Pessimistic point of view.

Best offensive line in football
Return of top 7 overall starting qb
Healthy Dez leads to the other receivers falling in line and excelling in their proper roles

What can I say about the D?
It's all about coach Rob(or is it Rod?)!
Thornton improves the run D to better than solid
The guy from the Raiders proves to be a better than expected addition
Crawford shows his play last season must've been injury related because he bounces back with a monster season that only Tyrone Crawford can produce
Wilcox and what's his name play like 2014 and not 2015
The kid drafted in the 1st last year, he becomes a pro bowler
And don't forget.. We locked up Heath for 4 years!!!!
The kid from Nebraska shows that he's the real deal after his suspension
Our draft nets at least 2 instant contributors
Are far as Corners go.... Pray
Sean Lee plays 13 games

My Pollyanna point of view

11-5, division winners!

I swear an injury to a skilled position player affects us more than any team in the league... Why is that?

As far as last year? Most people thought Dez's absence was going to severely restrict the offense. Then they lost Tony too. Those two guys were coming off legit top 10 player in the NFL seasons. You can't replace that. They did a poor job regardless but the drop off from best at your position to fringe roster guy is vast.

11-5 is the safe bet. Especially now after seeing our schedule. The only games that scare me outside of the division are the Packers and Steelers games. But the bottom line is that Romo has to stay healthy. Our success directly relies on his health.

Because we're relatively easy to pass against, and the delta between Romo and our QB2s is one of highest in the league this season. (And we lost more than one skill position player, too).

We need to improve defensive personnel at all levels in order to be better able to withstand an injury to Romo. And then we also should improve the backup behind him.

They got a good schedule. that's for sure. Benefits of winning only 4 games the prior year.....

It would be nice seeing them make the playoffs.

Having said that, I think I would rather win "only 4 games", rather then "find" a way and luck into the playoffs only to get killed by the better teams...... I am tired of that. the 8-8 almost. The 10-6, were in the playoffs, but we know were going to get smashed 40-7.......I would rather go 4-12.

SB or bust for me.

Did you see where Johnny was at it again? Trashed a multi million dollar rental in Hollywood with back to back party nights? They found broken furniture, cigarette burns in the carpet, cocaine on the kitchen table, mushrooms in plastic bags and - oh - Johnny passed out on the couch at 2 in the afternoon when he was supposed to check out at noon.

Johnny doing what he does best these days.
