Did you see where Johnny was at it again? Trashed a multi million dollar rental in Hollywood with back to back party nights? They found broken furniture, cigarette burns in the carpet, cocaine on the kitchen table, mushrooms in plastic bags and - oh - Johnny passed out on the couch at 2 in the afternoon when he was supposed to check out at noon.

Johnny doing what he does best these days.

He's a mess.

I wouldn't be penciling in Kellen Moore as the backup just yet we were 0-2 with him as the starter and neither game was close. The backup job will be determined in training camp and preseason where our backups will get plenty of snaps. I think Morris could give our running game a boost but overall the Cowboys look like a 7-9 to 8-8 team with Romo. There's a lot of holes on defense and we'll have to see where Dez and Romo's games are coming off injury plagued seasons. The only chance I see of the team making the playoffs is Romo staying healthy and having a couple of rookies make a significant impact and the division remaining weak. You need to win at least 9 games to have a realistic shot at the playoffs and 9 wins will be a challenge for the Cowboys unless they surprise.

I'm ready to get the memory of last season out of my head. What a miserable season. What made it worse was realizing that this team had some very mediocre players that I thought were better then that. That has got me super excited about this draft and I hope Jerry gets it right

He's yet to prove he can win a game so the team would really be rolling the dice to bank on him keeping us afloat if Romo goes down again. We'll just have to see what we do in the draft at the position.

they will win somewhere between 6 to 9 games.

It's setting up for the usual average season. If Phili, DC and/or NY suffer significant injuries and Romo/Dez stays healthy it may get competitive but that's a big if.

I'm waiting until after the draft. If anything, probably after T/C since we've managed to lose a key asset(s) in each of the last 3 T/Cs due to injuries.
