I don't understand why people are worried about having time to do this. It literally requires you to take the smartphone out of your pocket and look and it for all of 5 minutes. This isn't a labor intensive excercise we are taking about here (except maybe for risen)

I've got it down to a science anymore. It helps big time to have prepared GMs though.

I never mind waiting a full clock for anyone's pick. You should use every second you have if you feel you need it. What I don't like is waiting out a clock for a GM that isn't around and isn't showing up. That's why we site pick for that team the rest of the draft unless that GM shows up and contacts me.

Being the commissioner of this mock has it's pros and cons. I'm graded more favorably. I know I am. I'm the guy who gets the grades and people are appreciative of the effort. But on the flip side I have less time to work my own draft class. There have been times I would have looked to move around but simply was swamped with other things.

Good time though. I feel connected to the players I draft and always pay close attention to their pro careers.

My absolute favorite part of being a draft nerd. It really does make you feel a connection with that player.

It always feels good to find sleepers in the draft and end up seeing them become good players. Analyzing a player, determining their strengths and weaknesses, and then seeing those evaluations "come to life" so to speak, is very rewarding.

It makes it more exciting to watch football, especially teams not named the Cowboys.
