2016 NFC playoff predictions: East should be hotly contested

What on earth are guys looking at to say the Eagirls have the most talent on offense? They have no quarterback, no running game and no receivers and a shaky offensive line......

I can see the argument for the Skins and Giants. But the Eagirls?

I really don't know how anyone can objectively look at these teams and pick the Eagles to win the division.

They are going to be atrocious.

No QB. No WR. Questionable O line. Questionable HC.

Even if their defense ends up being "decent", so what? As if it will be enough to carry an offense that literally has no identity and no truly dynamic threats at the skill positions.

They will be in the basement this year, which will make it that much sweeter next year when they won't even have a 1st round draft pick to show for their troubles, AND they'll be hosting the draft lol.

I agree. And I don't even see why everyone is in love with their front 7. I might be missing someone but weren't the majority of those guys there last year?

A lot of Giants picks, don't get it....
That defense could surprise....They need O-lineman....If they could pick up a few guys ...they could be the team to beat.

Commanders....Might have the best coaching

Eagles....Just not buying their run game...If they don't get to the QB..that secondary could get torched.

Then there is us....I still think 2014 was a mirage.....Just so we would extend the boy wonder. There are just too many question marks throughout this roster to justify us winning it all.

This is fantastic news. When the Cowboys are doubted they are at their best.

Has long as the Eagles lose and they will l am content. Reskins are over rated and the Giants too.

You're using the word "excel" pretty loosely there bud.

Probably but he was the rookie of the year, threw for 3500 yards completed 60 percent of his passes. Not bad for a rookie. He was at his best under pat shurmur and now he is in basically the same offense again.

Meh. The dude is going into his 7th season. Referencing what he did in 2010 as a rookie to project what he's going to do this year is more than a stretch.

A ton of people also manufactured reasons to believe he'd be good in Chip's offense. We all know how that turned out.

Bradford's no longer deserving of any benefit of the doubt. Not in my opinion anyway.

all true, but he did have good results in this offense and now he is playing in it again. Have to imagine he is at least comfortable within the scheme.

I don't know what to make of the eagles but they are not the talent less dumber step brother many are making them out to be. they have holes like all 4 east teams do.

well the good news is lawrence Taylor got a dui so Goodell will probably suspend him for a game or two.

Should slow the giants front down a little.

I can see why some pick the Commanders, as they are the defending NFCE champs, they haven't done anything to get better, nor worse.
I don't get the Giants love, but the mediots are, well mediots. So we had the worsr d, and what looked to be improved last year on paper prior to the season, well it wasn't. So the giants make some moves, and now their worst Defense is going to propel them to the division winners...they won't improve that much.
The Eagles get love in abundance every year, for how long now...and yet still.....:igglestrophy:.....and that will continue as the will finish with a top 10 pick, in oh, they don't have anymore...:lmao2:

Dallas was by far, or should have been the favorite to win the division, with the Commanders right there too. I could se some still saying them. Only the most die hard haters would not say us.
But with the injury to Tony, I can see where some backed off of picking us. But his Giants and their now great D, no way.

I think anybody can win it and I'll still say it comes down to that final game at Philly for win and in.

I keep thinking about how many games we barely lost last year even though we had an absolutely atrocious passing game.

Dak has the respect of his teammates and is much more talented than the backups we used last year. We have improved in the secondary and at DT in particular. Thrown in Zeke and a nasty running game that controls the clock-- and I think we will be a tough team that no one wants to play. Remember when we just physically beat the hell out of teams in 2014? I get the feeling this team has its swagger back and the OL will set the tone again.

Everyone forgets that the Eagles Def was very good the first part of the season. Chip's style finally ran them into the ground. Their front four is a top three unit in the league, and Cox might be the best D lineman not named Watt. Jenkins is an excellent safety, and they upgraded the rest of the secondary. Their offense might--hell, will--stink up the joint this year, but their defense will keep them in almost every game and probably win them a few. Their ST's are pretty damn good too.

Still, third place at best in the division.

NFC Least will only produce 1 playoff team with the division winner 9 or 10 wins.
