That’s crap. Cooper prior to coming to Dallas was one of the worst receivers in the league. Gallup was a 3rd round pick. Cobb....I was told he was finished. So yeah I don’t want to hear this excuse that Wentz doesn’t have anything because Goerdert and Ertz are two great tight ends. Can you imagine if Dak had them two?
exactly
WHO proclaimed Cooper to be one of the worst WRs in the NFL ? ... You ?
Cooper had already established himself as a pro bowl WR, but just so happens for whatever reason fell out of favor with Chunky and his new managing direction in Rada's land.
Cowboys did their due diligence work on Cooper and how value his skill set could immediately help this team, this QB, and pull the trigger on giving up a No.1 pick to get him.
the rest is history to how that trade is paying off for our offense. I'm fully aware of how we acquire Gallup and Cobb, so what does that have to do with Wentz and his current pedestrian WR group ?
in fact its ironic that Carson is having the same WR unit issue now that he is
Naah, it's not crap, you just may not wanna hear it, because of your team bias,..
As an organization, you simply have to give your cornerstone franchise QB the best chances where he can best excel and maximize his skill set. We have gradually done that with Dak in giving him
surrounding weapons, an OL, a top notch RB and a new coaching staff ..all that has placed him in the best position to excel ..which he is doing so more than ever nowadays.
- the Eagles have NOT done so with their WR group, they have failed to acquire talent that Wentz needs after clearly relying upon just Desean Jackson to do so, .. Jeffries scares no one as he's just serviceable, Nelson is primarily a slot guy and his flaws magnify if he is used outside more and more,.. Jordan Matthew is JAG
Imagine Dak with Ertz and Goerdert ? .. I could dream about it but since this club continues to love and adore the starting, aging 5-yard lumberer in Jason Witten, and think he is not a progress stopper, we won't ever be in a position to where we can imagine far more formidable big play TEs here.
