Michael Gallup looked smooth with sure hands. 40 time wasn’t overly impressive but not bad either. He’s a guy I see having really good value if we could get him in the 3rd

The fact he lined up a lot in the slot in college is one reason.

He is not being described as a "slot only" rather that his best position would be slot. It is not like he would be incapable of playing outside. He is a "slot" like Golden Tate is a slot type.

Yea I’m impressed with his foot work and route running. He’s really quick in his cuts. We need that in this offense. He’ll probably be gone by 50 though.
