Jaylon Smith

Physically he looked like he did in 2017. Very choppy in his steps, bad ccx angles etc etc. If the leg issue is tgere, and it appears it is then Jerry messed up.

Even worse is this guys attitude, . More concerned with building his brand off the field, the swipe has become the most hated thing I can remember.
He celebrates after facemasking guys, after tackling guys 15 yards down field and just generally doesn't care about his defensive colleagues at all.....

I could go on but my blood pressure is boiling........

How can it be anyone but Demarcus Lawrence?

the highest paid Player in cowboys history (by faarrrr) played like a backup who was struggling to keep his roster spot. Robert Quinn was definitively superior at least 13 of the 16 games, and HIS valuation was that of a 6th round pick.

the last full sack Demarcus Lawrence tallied was in the game after Halloween. Think about that for a moment.

Everyone except La’el Collins that we signed this year.
Dak during and after the Pats game
LG position
Cameron Fleming
Brett Maher
Amari Cooper during and after the Pats game
Byron Jones
Chido
All our ST players besides Forbath
All of our LB’s

Zeke

He did not live up to that contract and wasn't a deciding factor in meaningful games.

I know it wasn't all of his fault but my gosh he is not what he used to be.

2016 Zeke is long gone.

I've been listening to the aftermath all afternoon I usually don't do that every one of them had a point where they think this defense is disconnected terribly disconnected I think we started seeing some of that early on especially when I go back and look at tapes

LVE and Awuzi stick out the most to me. Both should have been improving, not regressing. Jaylon already sucked.

LVE was a big one for me too.

He's my favorite player on the team and he's an incredible talent but he was also better his rookie year like Zeke.

I hate it when we get guys and their best year is their rookie year haha.

If LVE is healthy he should bounce back. He's just too talented.

Maybe we can trade for Myles Garrett. The Browns may want to move on to change the culture in the locker room.

He’s my favorite player on defense for sure too. Richard, Marinelli, and the whole defensive staff get a flat out F this year to me. All of these young promising players went backwards.

If all you care about is his sack numbers then you will be disappointed. If you actually watched him play then you would have seen a solid performance especially against the run coming off an injury.
