The problem with Monday Night Football for quite awhile now is that the matchups always seem to be pretty weak

The problem with Monday Night Football for quite awhile now is that the matchups always seem to be pretty weak

That and the buildup is now terrible. ESPN has done a horrible job with it after paying so much money to get it.

They have always had little depth beyond their top guys. They tend to focus on their top crew. Just look at the idiotic contract they gave to Brady.

So when Buck and Aikman bolted, there wasn't much left.

That is as important to me as who the camera operators are because I haven't tuned in because of the broadcast team since MNF ended, I didn't even tune in for Madden/Summerall if I wasn't interested in the matchup. If it's a good game, I am there if Bert & Ernie are doing it.

The NFL have tweaked their algorithms to put more top games in prime time. They are also doing away with the Fox/NFC - CBS/AFC relationships.
