You may have forgotten, but you played TB in the regular season, and scored only 3 points. The poster you were conversing with was talking about the 2022 regular season. In fact, This entire comment chain had about regular season stats. Did you not pick up on that? Or were you thinking about preseason and postseason and previous season stats as well? Is that how you came to your 5 games missed number?

The playoff game where you blew TB out seems to be the only game you want to bring up for his production this year. Your argument of Schultz’s value is focusing on the game you didn’t need him at all to win comfortably? Is that your intended point? I don’t agree he was that useless this year, that’s a stretch. He was simply not impactful enough to be considered someone who turned around your depleted passing options, as was the original comment from the previous commenter that you made your 5 game reply to.
Nope, mentioned it several times in another argument. Its why beating the Bucs was a big win in the playoffs.

And if you thought I was talking about the regular season game, then your just trolling again.

Nope, you assumed thats what I was saying and its why you attacked me.

The last two years Dalton was essentially the #2 passing weapon in our offense and its one reason why the WR stats werent as great as they could have been. When you have a pass catching TE like Shultz, it takes away from the WR's. Thats just plain common sense.

Its also why retaining Shultz was a priority in 2022 once Cooper was traded. Im glad they moved on from Shultz. No need to pay him 10M when we have some solid young TE's and Cooks was traded for.

The funny part is your arguing with a guy that mostly agrees with you. Your just trying to argue for the troll of it.

You held an 8-10 team to 14 points; it really didn’t matter what you did on offense. It was one of the worst playoff teams we’ve seen in a decade. Meanwhile Dallas was probably the third best team in the NFC; that was a bigger mismatch than Philly-NYG or SF-SEA

You didn’t need Dalton Schultz to walk over them; it’s very plausible you didn’t even need Dak Prescott. They couldn’t stop anything you were doing and you stopped everything they had.

Dalton’s best game last year was probably Houston. You may not win that game without him. But even at 11-6 you still end up in the same place you did (wild card #1)

So your saying the team around the QB matters? Glad you are finally learning something.

Once Dak tore them up in the air they become one dimensional. It was a classic beatdown. A beating that most of your merry bad of haters said we would lose and Dak would play poorly.

300 yards and 5 TD's. LOL What a clutch performance. How mad were you?

I like Dak, and have always stated team around QB is vital. Yet another blatant lie. That’s #3 this thread for you (well #3 and #4 if you differentiate the two, but I’ll cut you some slack). You don’t need to make up talking points to continue to converse with me.

Dak blew out a bad team. Great for him but it wasn’t at all necessary.

Glad to hear you understand the team around the QB. Then in the next sentence you say that Dak blew out the team all by himself. So which is it?

Dak's performance was arguably one of the best in playoff history. And the Bucs defense was no slouch. Their D shut us down the first game that year. Got Dak and Shultz hurt. Their offense was weak. You want to say the D had an easy time, no issue.

If you understand football, you would understand that.

Yes, and if he played an even worse team he would have had an even better performance. Funny how that works
