He doesn't count because he doesn't fit the agenda.
Not that I have a stake in this discussion either way, but I would say he didn't count because the title of the thread was "2023 draft class"

Just a guess of course. Also, he wasn't even brought in as part of the draft process (in other words as an undrafted free agent right after the draft) as we signed him in July after camp started.

He was actually part of the 2022 draft class and he went undrafted and not signed as an undrafted FA that year either (we didn't sign him in 2022 when we could have did we?). He was an incredible pick-up, no doubt, and arguably the best thing we did that offseason. That being said, there is not a single part of his pick-up that had a single iota to do with the 2023, or 2022 for that matter, draft.

when you say draft you mean those drafted. Do not try and move the goalposts.
Move what goal posts? You’re trying to win an argument by making them look worse than they are. Trust me with or without Aubrey it still sucks so you don’t have to worry.

Was he classified as a rookie in 2022 or 2023?

I see excuses and unwarranted assumptions about several of these players
Overshown is looking real good but he is far from a superstar
Richards MIGHT be a starter; and how good might that be is unknown
Vaugn and Brooks nothing and frankly by now there should be something
Escuses and unwarranted assumptions? Where?

Overshown is a super star. If you don't want to see it that's cool.
Richards will be a starter. He's looked good so far and he has a bright future with a decent OL coach after this year.
Vaughn and Brooks...you expected something already from a 6th and 7th rounders that normally only have a 5% chance (or less) of making the 53? These weren't day 1 or day 2 picks. They were late day 3 picks. I'm guessing you looked at all the 6th and 7th round draft picks before making that comment so you could compare them to the rest of the league.

FWIW... I have said for a while that the standard for a good draft is two starters and a spare part. If you look back at past draft hauls from different teams, that is about the median result.

Overshown is a starter when healthy, although we'll see if he stays healthy enough to give us much value. And Richards might be a starter.

I don't see another guy who's even spare part worthy. But if we end up with two starters, this might end up being a "slightly bad' draft class, rather than an "F-----" draft class.

BS on Overshown being a superstar
He MIGHT make it there but you are a HOMER to say it now
so right now ONE real starter from last years draft says it is a bad draft
Maxi is starting because realistically we have no one else
the rest of them are dregs as of this time
go ahead and spin it all you want it still spells HOMER
