Remember, we are told how improved the Dallas drafts have been. Cowboys don't get to a NFC Conference game THIS SEASON, you can point a BIG finger at this draft did NOTHING and will cost this team.
What if the Cowboys go to the NFC championship and even win it? What do you do with your finger?

I challenge you to find a team getting less from their draft. F- grade.

I know one guy in the 2nd round that we were both screaming for on draft day
OCyrus Torrence

Looking back at the first round, LaPorta would have been a home run and if we had to go DT, then Bryan Breese was good.
Who knows, maybe Mazi turns out ok,

Of course, if we wanted a WR in the late rounds, there was Puka Nacua at the very end of the 5th round...lol

Easy to do hindsight though

Hey, overall our roster has been constructed very well. It just has a few leaks

How about the linebacker they signed? How about the offseason trades for Gilmore and Cooks? Say what you will, the Cowboys look better than the Eagles. The Eagles aren't winning anything this year.
Evans has been a complete non factor.

Gilmore and Cooks were a good starting point but not enough.

At least the Eagles are fresh off an NFCC win and have a super bowl on the last decade. Their GM is always trying to make the roster better…ours is clueless.

The Eagles have lost 3 in a row.

He wouldn't even be playing right now I'm not sure why he's still being brought up.

He's a solid player but not some difference maker.

Has he really been solid though? I don't watch buffalo that much but his pff grade is almost identical to mazi. Which is funny since everybody hates Mazi but keeps bringing up Torrence as a mistake

I mean he's...fine. Fine, solid, decent, good for a rookie...pick a descriptor lol.

He gets beat when he's too slow out of his stance but is a powerful player - which is basically what we knew coming out of college. Good reps and bad, he hasn't been a very good pass blocker - or at least wasn't in the beginning of the season.

And they’re still in the driver seat to win the NFCE.
They look to be on thin ice. Their secondary is not good enough to win. They are on fumes and in desperate need to find a gas station.

Definitely all-rookie team.
Plus, one is first round, one is 2nd round. One cost twice as much as the other in draft capital.
I don't really hear folks saying we should've taken Torrance in the 1st round. But he was there in the 2nd

Now that Tyler Smith seems locked in OG, maybe Torrance wouldn't have been as valuable anyway. His value was assuming 8 year starting OG while Smith moved to OT eventually

We all know hind sight is silly anyway.

All rookie based on what? Your eye test? Stats? I'm really curious

Guess we'll see.....

If he's not, you can remind me. I can take it

The Rams' Avila might be one too
Lol I won't remind you. I just think it's strange that mazi gets destroyed when the only reference for play available says Torrance has been the same. But yea........no reminding from me on this one

and I already said I don't judge interior players year 1. That includes guards/centers.

I'm not in the camp saying Mazi is already a bust anyway

To me, this past draft was a over-reach by the front office.
Nearly the whole draft is for next year.
Mazi - should be better able to play inside next year. Shoon - terrible, has not improved over the year and barely plays. Not looking good at all. Overshon - looked good in Camp, blew out knee. Have to hope he's ready next year. Fehoko - don't know why he hasn't been able to get on the field at all - next year. Richards - played abit early - next year. Scott - who we traded up for - next year.
The point is. We seem to have wasted a season by all the talent being ready to contribute next year more than this. The 2 trades were outstanding. The draft - meh.
