As an ACC guy I've been an Abanikanda admirer since way before he became a chic name among draftnicks. I also really like Jaq Roy and Charlie Jones. I think Jones is a pro-ready WR who's gonna make some GM look really smart.

Darnell Washington....physique would overcome the usual question marks of college TE's having to make the jump to facing NFL LB's.....aids the running game.
Doubt we'd take him as if we had any intension we'd want to check out his hands in a work out....despite reports saying his very presence will garner defensive attention in the backfield.

This is an easy one for me. I've liked this guy since I started scoping players after the San Fran game: Jalen Moreno-Cropper. The guy is a good route runner with a passion for the game, and his style will translate well to the NFL. My player comp for Cropper is . . . Stephon Diggs. I can see him being the steal of the draft even, because most have him slated as a late round pick or even UDFA, which, to me, just seems crazy

Statistically, Cropper had more yards than first-round prospect Zay Flowers, who is also one of my favorite targets.

We all likely have several pet cats. But if there was one off-the-radar player you could draft for the Cowboys, who would it be?

And why?

Horrible year for WR's. Flowers is a 2nd round talent in a good WR draft. Not impressed by him. Besides we dont need him.

Pet cat would be Kendra Miller the TCU running back.

Your WR obsession knows no bounds. If we had Lamb, Cooper, Hopkins and Cooks you would still be panning for a WR in the first round.

favorite player in the draft:
offense:
♧michael mayer,te-notre dame.
defense:
♧isaiah foskey,de-notre dame.
would love for my worlds to collide and one of them wears ☆ on game days.
Put me on the Mayer bandwagon.

Tyjae Spears.

My favorite player by a mile is Devon Witherspoon. I’ve been wanting him on the Cowboys since the mid-point of last season… but he’s going to be a top 10 pick and so I no longer really view him as being a pet cat.
Yah, not a big Spears fan. hes good, but everything is to the outside. I would prefer Kendra Miller or Isreal Ab from Pitt.

Have you watched the highlights? I will admit he looks good in it. But all he is really doing is running go routes. And to top it off, 3/4 of this entire highlights is against utah and UNLV. LOL

Those are horrible horrible football teams. So all he is really doing is beating a bunch of scrub corners on deep routes. These are the types that never really translate to the NFL. I would love to see him catch more stuff over the middle in traffic and see what he can do with the yac. But we dont see that here.

Kancey is my favorite player in the draft. The film is just too good and interior pass rush is too valuable and hard to come by for me not to love him. Put him in the pass rush rotation with Parsons where you rest him on obvious run downs if you’re truly concerned about his size.

For a later round pet cat give me Nashon’s little brother Rejzohn Wright. I think he’s a more polished version of Nashon and fluid in coverage. Did great on Addison this year.

I haven’t watched this player, but since when is Utah a horrible team? They’ve put a good bit of talent into the league recently and have had a decent record the past couple of years.

Utah State. They were 0-3 in the highlights.

R3 and beyond
  • Darius Rush (R3)…..agree with @InPhiltraitor
  • Jacqueline Roy (R3)…..add a little more bulk to stay at 1T…..3 down guy with pass rush
  • Dewayne McBride (R5)…..dynamic runner but not a receiver (not sure if by design or ability)
  • Brodric Martin (R6-7)…..green 1T to develop
  • Andrew Iosivas (R7)…..green with upside…..may be moving up

Tui Tuipulotu USC Defensive Lineman

He's a George Karlaftis clone with way better production. He played all over the defensive line and could be an upgrade to Carlos Watkins. NFL.com has him ranked between our first and second round picks at 38.

22 TFLs and 13.5 sacks
I've been curious about him. It seems Dallas has shown more interest in him than Kancey or Bresee, so I wondered if he could be a second-round target. Probably will be gone, and we probably won't draft a DL until the eighth round, but I'm really interested in guys who might can improve our DT spots.

If he fell to 58 I wouldn't mind pick, NFL has him ranked 37th. I'm sure the teams are aware of him but he's a little under the radar with fans.

Overview
Defender possessing the rare blend of size, strength and athleticism to line up as an interior or edge defender in both 4-3 and 3-4 fronts. Tuipulotu plays with a go-go motor from the first snap to the last. His heavy-handed attack and ability to shed help compensate for a lack of length at the point of attack, while quick feet help him disrupt in gaps. He can play with a hand down or standing but needs to play with better discipline to eliminate voided fits. Tuipulotu is a power-based rusher with decent bend and flatten talent but he’s unlikely to win with his get-off alone. He should become a good starter.
Strengths
  • Rare alignment versatility for every defensive front.
  • Huge production in 2022 with 13.5 sacks and 22 tackles for loss.
  • Enticing agility and short-space athleticism for his size.
  • Plays with bend and has ability to elude or challenge blocker.
  • Pops and sheds opponent with twitchy upper body.
  • Displays ability to rush with a plan in place.
  • Powerful hips help drive through redirect blocks.
  • Possesses effective inside rush counters.
Weaknesses
  • Lacks desired mass inside and length outside.
  • Rush becomes a little too straight-legged.
  • Below average closing quickness to the quarterback.
  • Unable to build momentum when initial move is neutralized.
  • Freestyles and loses his run fits.
  • Could struggle with contain range as an edge defender.
