This is an easy one for me. I've liked this guy since I started scoping players after the San Fran game: Jalen Moreno-Cropper. The guy is a good route runner with a passion for the game, and his style will translate well to the NFL. My player comp for Cropper is . . . Stephon Diggs. I can see him being the steal of the draft even, because most have him slated as a late round pick or even UDFA, which, to me, just seems crazy.

Statistically, Cropper had more yards than first-round prospect Zay Flowers, who is also one of my favorite targets.

We all likely have several pet cats. But if there was one off-the-radar player you could draft for the Cowboys, who would it be?

And why?

Loved him at Fresno state. But he doesn't have the strength, nor the speed to make any headway in the nfl. He's not the next Adam's. He could turn into a serviceable slot because he puts in the works. But the nfl us a huge step from the mountain west.

My pet cat(s)

1. Broderick Jones LG - this kid would make a great left side at LG with Tyler. Tyler, Jones, Steele would be staples on the OL for the next decade.

2. Bijan Robinson RB - Best player in the draft.

3. Michael Mayer TE - after Mayer alot of Gavin Escobar like production and potential guys being
overhyped. Mayer is a old school TE. They have the new school style in Ferguson and Hendershot.

4. Jake Haener QB - very smart, can make all the throws. If he was 2-3 inches taller he'd be a rd2 pick IMO. His height doesn't limit him. He knows how to move around the pocket to create the best view for passing lanes.

5. Tucker Kraft TE - just reminds you of Geodert. A more athletic Mayer type of TE.

Nathaniel Tank Dell. 32 TDs and 3,155 yards in 3 years. He plays up to the competition too catching 9 balls and 2 TDS against #9 Tulane last season and 9 balls and a TD against #4 Cincinnati in 2021.
This guy makes Forbes look like Deebo Samuel

I was struggling with finding a true pet cat this year, but I watched Illinois DB Jartavius Martin last night and I'm totally bought in on the potential. Like honestly, if they just drafted the entire Illinois secondary I would be thrilled.

I love Martin. He is a baller.

Like you said, that entire Illinois secondary is banging.

Heck, Detroit drafted Kirby Joseph last year, safety from Illinois, and he played great. Plays way above his draft position.

Dallas should just go hire their secondary coach as a defensive assistant.

Detroit is going to draft Witherspoon at pick 6 and reunite him and Joseph.

Witherspoon is my favorite player, by a mile, in this year’s draft.

RB Deneric Prince Tulsa, WR Puka Nacua BYU, TE Payne Durham Purdue, OT Earl Bostick Jr. Kansas, OG Cedrice Paillant Marshall,

DT Jerrod Clark C. Carolina, DT Scott Matlock Boise, DE Ochaun Mathis Nebraska, DE BJ Thompson SFA, LB Mohamoud Diabate Utah

CB Eric Scott Jr. Southern Miss, CB/FS Nic Jones Ball State, FS Jason Taylor ll Oklahoma St., SS Marte Mapu Sacramento State

I couldn't pick just one. From my own interpretation of the phrase pet cat; Day 3 player whom a lot of people may not know about, but you love and would fight for in a war room.
Round 5-7 players or even UDFA priority type players who I feel have the tools to make an NFL roster.

He's a late bloomer, like Jerry Rice was.
