2023: The ‘I Trust You’ Draft

I think a nice potential compromise player might be free agent Isaiah Wynn. He’s talented, but oft-injured and would bring a nice combination of talent, experience, and flexibility having played multiple positions on the offensive line.

Based on his injury history, it would need to be a performance-based, incentive-laden type of contract. But Wynn has the ability to play both left tackle and left guard.
Has Wynn ever even taken a snap at guard? They already brought in Edoga as vet depth at G, and have at least 3 NFL tackles (Tyron, Smith, Steele). They don't really have room on the roster for any other vet depth.

In college, yes.

A JAG that I would drop in a second for Wynn.

I’m suggesting that he could provide tackle depth in a pinch but am thinking more of him playing or backing up at left guard. At worst, he’s a far better option than any current backups being mentioned.

How is he a better depth piece at guard than Edoga, if he's never played guard in the NFL and was pretty bad at RT last year? He was a good LT two years ago, but hasn't been good since.
