These are the moves I expected Mavs to make while Okc is selling.

2027 their pick goes to charlotte.

2028 a likely very bad Dallas team will be swapping their pick with the Oklahoma City Thunder, yep the best team in basketball is going to have a potential lottery pick.

2029 they swap their pick with the houston rockets. The year after that their pick swaps with the san antonio spurs, who already look to be fringe contenders this year and are only going to get better.

In a league where Desmond Bane was traded for kcp, cole anthony and four (4) first-round picks, a generational Luka Doncic in the prime of his career sure would've got you a gigantic haul of picks, because you know franchises go decades trying to draft a player of doncic's talent.

Well how about i give you an injury riddled 32 year old AD (who's already missed 30 of the 44 games he could've played with the mavs), the 35th pick max christie and a one (1) first-round pick.

They need to stick with Mobley…

I tend to agree. I will say Durans positional defense fits in an NBA that needs to defend Wemby, but I just dont think he has the offensive upside to be more than a 4th option on a contender. Mobley is 3 years older, but is still only 25 and there is still some upside to pull from him

Would be interesting if the Celtics can pull both Clingan and Sharpe. You have to figure Deni is off the table. Although Id be interesting in a one for one for Deni

I get that the second apron is unpopular... but it looks like it's working to me

I don't think fans want to see OKC keep the same core of bench players, paid like starters and they win every year

If they can keep their core of Shai, JWill and Chet together and re-tool every few years, that's fine.

Same for the SAS when they reach the top... Wemby, Castle and Harper is great... can't keep Vassell and others forever.

We’ve talked about this numerous times. We understand they failed. The world moves on. You can’t stop making moves because the previous front office fumbled Luka. Go get some shooters. Luka is gone.

Yeah I feel Duran already hit his ceiling. Good player but I’m not a fan of the one trick pony offensive guys. If I draft them is one thing. But if I’m staring at both guys give me Mobley. I really think next to Tatum Mobley will take off. I want that for him.
