2025-26 NBA Season

They can wear what they want and some do

But people love the old spurs logo because its part of the San Antonio culture and its a darn good logo

Its no different than when a team like Penn State wants to do a whiteout

Spurs Black & Silver looks pretty good like the combo it’s got that Raiders vibe . But if this makes the fan base happy go for it .

Unlike the Mavericks who seem to change uniform colors every 10 mins . In fact when Don Carter owned the team the logo was so much better the 10 gallon hat than that bizarre horse Cuban hatched .

The colors are apart of the old spurs fiesta logo, its a nod to the history of San Antonio and the old logo
Yes and I hate it. It reminds me of when David Robinson and those teams were getting punked by Hakeem Olajuwon in the Playoffs. It's nice having the big man this time who takes it personal with the MVP trophy going to someone else. And I'm pretty sure we have a losing record or at least a .500 record in this year's Playoffs when the fans "Fiesta Out" instead of black out, so they should abandon it as quick as possible. LOL

I wonder if the Timberwolves are having buyers remorse now on that trade of KAT for Randle. I know who I would rather have playing against Wemby. A lot of regret with the team the Knicks have built. Very impressive that it's all from trades and free agents. All their starters could have been getting big minutes on their former teams if they had been just a little bit more patient and maybe some better coaches.

Been saying it all year after watching the regular season games, but Knicks were the matchup I feared the most. I'd like to say I'm not worried because the Spurs played like crap and still almost beat them until the final quarter. Spurs couldn't sink any of their shots until Knicks decided to leave Champagne wide open for those three pointers. Haven't seen Spurs give a way a lead like that in a while. But Knicks also came out rusty with that 8 game rest and didn't really pick it up until the second half, so both teams can play better.

When Wemby plays big, the Spurs win. Simple as that. He looks good on the box score, but that was not his best game at all. I hope he can figure out how to play closer to the rim with KAT in his way. I look forward to Coach Mitch's adjustments in game two, but I think the team just needs to sack up and not play tired. They're almost all 24 and younger. That was another fear of mine posted here. The Spurs and Thunder going to beat each other up and whomever makes it in seven games gets to bring their tired injured team to New York. I think the Spurs will respond and win Game 2, but not as confident about the Spurs winning this series as I was the Thunder series.

One thing with a young team like that is Coach Mitch needs to use his timeouts better. This team doesn't know any better. They were either winning with Wemby (post injury Wemby) or nothing else. You can see the reaction sometimes when they are in those end of game situations that veteran presence helps. Their guiding vet is De'Aaron Fox who doesn't look like he has much left with that injury. That's why I don't worry bout the Thunder getting their #2 ball mover and scorer back next year. Not like we had ours either.

It actually gets worse. Here is their alternate fiesta colors white version they brought out a few years ago. The Miami Dolphins are hooping in San Antonio these days?

Plenty of Knicks fans where there with Knicks jerseys........ seems like little rockport just wants to complain.
Meh.... Knicks fans can afford to travel and pay $5,000 for just a nosebleed. No idea how much they paid for those closer courtside seats. They all live in New York City where 1 bedroom apartments go for $10,000 minimum, this is just chump change for them.. :muttley:

I don't feel like the national media is giving the Spurs much of a chance with this one. Too many people who want the feel good story and the Chicago Cub.... errr... NY Knicks winning a Finals again. It's fine, we've been disrespected for decades.

No team down 0-2 at home in the NBA finals has ever come back to win.

I feel very confident the Knicks are going to blast the Spurs Monday. What. A. Season.

Can't wait for Monday... Spurs are gonna throw everything they have at NY

The crowd is gonna make it tough

I don't know how this finals is going to be remembered, but game 3 is gonna be one for the ages

I don't believe that's true. I think back in the late 70s the Sixers lost 4 straight after winning the first 2 in Portland. You can correct me if I'm wrong. I didn't check. Just going by memory.

I checked. You're right. I think they won the first 2 in Philly.

It's over in 4. I don't even think the next two are close.

Sometimes teams get hot at the right moment and when that happens it's almost impossible to beat them.

It's how the Giants went from wildard team to beating the #1 NFC Cowboys to beating the previously undefeated Patriots in the Super Bowl.

I think the youth on the Spurs led them into a trap with that game 7 win against the Thunder. They acted like they won the championship with that game.

They seem to forget they were 1-2 agains the Knicks this season and the game they won was at home and they only won it by 2 points while having to score 130+ points.

The series is not over, but if the Spurs lose game #3, I don't see them winning game #4.

If the Spurs can take game 3 in NY it's still a series. If they lose i just can't see them coming back from being down 3-0
I didn't think the Knicks even had a chance against either the Spurs or Thunder. Based on the regular season, the Knicks are playing way ahead of their usual. I can't believe it. But now, I don't see the Spurs winning at MSG. Knicks actually look like the better team. And now they're home.
