Would making the finals out do this latest 20 something win season where hope was lost after week one ? At least they made the finals and didn’t finish in the gutter . Would you like to see Dallas at least make the SB and have a shot instead of this 7 win garbage I know i would . Posters downplay making the finals like it’s an annual happening ?

How is Kyrie not the present?

If Mavs were smart they’d hold on to him and wait to trade him by the All Star Break. It’s risky but I wouldn’t trade him now. I mean unless something crazy is available like the 5th pick in a he draft.

How is coming off injury in and out of the lineup for a guy in the twilight of his career someone you keep to build upon when obviously you’re starting over building from the bottom up . The Mavs are one of the worst teams in basketball Kyrie Irving is not a part of a turn around . He’s a chip to put out there and hopefully attract a buyer who’s a lot closer then Dallas is .

I don’t see it that way. I’m like 99.9 percent sure Welby can win a ring lol. Anyone who can score and guard and is a superstar id say they have the edge.

Only thing is if Wemby continues to have stamina issues in the 4th that’s a fair assessment.

I guess with Luka it’s just some basketball sins he commits that I’ve seen Harden. Such as complain to the refs and not get back on defense. But more importantly the dribble while 4 guys watch him offense scares me. Works most nights until you face up against a team that can play defense.

Understood. It’s a risk. A risk I’d take knowing he doesn’t have value now. At least I don’t think he does. If you can get a few 1sts for him by all means….

I don’t follow the Wizards rumors at all…. So this is purely conjecture. I’ve got to believe it’s too sign a long term extension, primarily. Second guess is the DP rumors are true and he wants out in advance since he won’t be the lead guard.

If DP hits, you have a generational guard. All the top 4 prospects have flaws - but are immensely talented. I said this on another board over a month ago, I’d take DP first overall (and want nothing to do with Mara).
