I dont think the Mavs have the resources. 8 is nice, but there lack of pick control hurts them if they are really targeting Brown

I make the call. All they can say is no. I’m honestly not even interested in trading for vets but I suspect this is the chance to pounce on a Brown deal. I don’t think we have the resources. We have Lakers 1st our 1st this year….i don’t know you just never know.

I honestly don’t like this deal either. It’s more than the Mavs got but yeah they basically got a bunch of 3rd rate players for a superstar. I would’ve been pissed if Mavs got this too. I don’t value picks or good organizations I want picks or bad teams lol.

Especially on a Brown. But I agree with you we just don’t have the resources.

I agree. It would be a huge mistake for the new coach to draft based off where he previously coached. It should be about the best player available who will help the team
