I think NY is likely to deal 2024 FRP Pacome Dadiet

At this point, 2024 second rounder Tyler Kolek has passed him, and 2025 second rounder Mohamad Diawara has as well and there just isn't a path for him to get playing time and development

He'll probably get dealt to save a little bit of money given he makes about $2.9 million and hopefully they'll have enough under the second apron to entice Kevin Looney to sign.

If so I like our chances with

C: Karl-Anthony Towns, Kevin Looney
PF: OG Anunoby, Mohamad Diawara
SF: Josh Hart, Landry Shamet
SG: Mi'Kal Bridges, Deuce McBride
PG: Jalen Brunson, Jose Alverado, Tyler Kolek

And the two second rounders (Jack Kayil, Tyler Nickel), probably on minimum two-way contracts gets them to 13 players and probably under the second apron. Still need to add one more minimum player.

In theory we could bring back Jordan Clarckson on a vet minimum deal and he'd only count $2.2 million, as opposed to the $3.6 million he'd be getting paid

If my math is correct, we can bring Clarckson back and offer Looney their Tax Payer MLE worth $6.1 million and be under the second apron

Who know, it may not even be unreasonable to bring back Robinson for the MLE cost. Not sure what Robinson's market will be... he's a great rebounder and defender, so I doubt he re-signs, but who knows.

Im getting more and more into the possible haul from Portland for Brown. Sharpe, Scoot, Jrue plus pics. Creates a guard log jam, however they have resources to make a swing at big. Getting Milwaukee swaps would be huge

I think the league views him as a back up center on a contender but that's probably worth closer to the non tax payer MLE so some where in the $8-$12 million range... just guessing though

Yeah he really irks me especially after the Luka trade. I’ve seen a few interviews from
Him I’ve come to realize he doesn’t want to do a lot of things. Mentally and physically soft.
