At all. He’s still a good player he just can’t stay healthy. Sit him all year and get him ready for the playoffs. With that core they dont need vintage Embiid though

Wait a minute now….he may not be vintage Embid but an injured Embid still put up 24 points 7 boards and 5 assists a game.Na... not worried about Philly
I don't think we'll ever see a version of Embiid again that's an all star
And Brown, Maxey and a rising Edgecome is a good core... I have zero concern with Embiid outplaying KAT in a series
and he was an absolute liability on defenseWait a minute now….he may not be vintage Embid but an injured Embid still put up 24 points 7 boards and 5 assists a game.
I don't think that works... I know you're being hyperbolic and I'm not trying to nitpick, but you aren't resting him most of the season and then trying to insert him into the offense come playoff time. Boston got worse come playoff time doing that with Tatum... not to mention, Embiid won't be able to work himself into game shape imo. Which is a big reason he was so bad defensively against NYAt all. Damn 136? Is this the regular season or playoffs.and he was an absolute liability on defense
His defensive rating was 136... highest among the 5 starters and 2nd worse on the team among anyone who played meaningful minutes
I just don't think he's getting any better than what he was last year
Wiz should be a top 5 team in the East.Brown to the 76ers is crazy. I think that puts Knicks and 76ers in the top-tier of the East. The Raptors might be the 3rd team.
There are too many question marks with other teams: Celtics got worse, Pacers are coming off a down year, Heat don’t have a team around Giannis, Pistons and Cavs haven’t done anything to improve.
My dark horse in the East is the Wizards. They have the talent to be really good, but a lot of things need to fall in the right place: AD and Trae need to stay healthy, AJ the rookie needs to be a monster, some other need to step up.
There are a lot of good teams in the East. There’s gonna be some team that’ll be fighting to get into the playoffs. I think the Heat might be the odd man out. There’s definitely 6 teams better than the Heat, so they’ll be lucky to make the play-in.Wiz should be a top 5 team in the East.
Anything less is a failure imo.
Yeah with Spo the Heat should be at least a play in but yeah I don’t like their team they needed to keep those core guys with Giannis not get rid of them for him. There are a lot of good teams in the East. I think Pistons and Pacers will struggle. These are my Eastern conference rankings (with a line break between tiers):
Knicks
76ers
Raptors
Cavs
Pistons
Wizards
Hawks
Celtics
Heat
Magic
Pacers
Hornets
Bulls
Bucks
Nets
The hardest to predict are the Wizards and Pacers. If the Wizards roster stays as is and everyone is healthy, they can be really good. If not, they can be really bad. And the Pacers could either return to previous form or be bad again.
Playoff against the KnicksDamn 136? Is this the regular season or playoffs.
Ohhh I was gonna say I didn’t see it that bad in the regular season or playoffs.Playoff against the Knicks
