They aren’t cooked.

I am not a Lakers fan, but they got a stretch 4/5, a rim running defensive center, kept Reaves, added shooting/scoring off the bench, etc.

Where they are hurt is cap space because they spent it all this year and first round picks for flexibility to improve the roster going forward.

They are a playoff team, but likely don’t have enough to beat OKC nor SA…. And no feasible way to get there without major internal improvement and buying second round picks and hoping to strike gold.

Oh you are way more optimism than I am. Their ceiling is play.

But how can you argue they aren’t cooked if they aren’t as good as Spurs and Thunder? Those are the two best teams in the West….i guess the plan is to hope Luka makes guys better. Maybe it works. On paper I got them 10th best.
