2025-26 NBA Season

On the one hand, I'm excited to see this. On the other, I have no faith that Embiid would last more than a week, even if they were able to get him into the playoffs healthy.
That’s why I like it though; having LeBron allows them to be less reliant on Embid.

Makes me wonder how good their bench will be.
Thry got a lot of young guys with potential. Some guys I didn’t even know played for them….

Barlow
Daley Terry
Hukporti
Dean Wade
Trenton Watford
Jabari Walker
Justin Edward’s
Johnni Broome
Bona
Anfernee Simons
Caleb Love
Philon

On paper this is the best team out East.

I agree, but weren't the already like that? They got to the playoffs last year, Embiid was healthy for about a week and a half, and in that time, they took down Boston. Then he was hurt again, and they got blasted by the Knicks.
Oh I mean less reliant as in him not being available. I’m not expecting him in the playoffs and you have Lebron who has shown he can play the 5 if need be….its a great move for a team
Who wants to keep their hopes alive once Embid gets hurt.

If Knicks are the best team out East? I can see it.
It's not impossible. I just think it's not likely. It'd be great to see him have one last great run, and if he does it while also delivering a championship to a team that hasn't had one since 1983, even cooler.

(I am a very lapsed Sixer fan, so this offseason has been stunning to the point of being unbelievable.)

Think it will also come down to how well the starting 5 can gel together.
