I will never understand why people are complaining about Lebron being a ring chaser? Is the goal to win a championship?

It is but it’s not really organic. People want the homegrown teams to win:

Philly made sense with Brown being there. Macey is young, but productive. Edgecomb is on the way up. And more importantly, if they can have a relatively healthy Embiid make it to the playoffs - if they face SA, Embiid can have a go at Wembayana.

VJ isn’t going to see a big second year jump, stats wise.

I think if that was a possibility the Mavs would have had to move before Lebron decided on Philly. Something like if Lebron told Philly he would join them if they were able to get Kyrie.

I’d trade the whole team for VJ and I think Philly says no lol.

Kyrie for Philbon……might be more realistic but not sure how contracts are matched.

I hope you don't mean to include Flagg when you mentioned trading the whole team. I would take Flagg over VJ any day. I also don't think Philbon would be worth Kyrie 1 for 1. Philly would need to trade some unprotected 1st to get him
