No, I understood. Even Dirk Nowitzki was making fun of Wemby's lethargic arm running fatigue. If the Spurs knew they were already going to an NBA Finals, I bet they would have given him bigger minutes last year to be ready because you could tell at times he just didn't have it left. Not sure what the final answer is though on that. Looks like he can handle it, but also know they're scared to death of another big guy ending his career early with his blood clot. He's in the perfect place though, because if Kawhi taught us anything, it's load management. (sarcasm) And in Kornet's defense, it's tough to look good at 7'+ when you follow Wemby. But yes, Wemby's play time limit and lack of big men depth were definitely exposed in the Playoffs the same as the rookie Coaching mistakes. If he can stay healthy, I love the big man from Kentucky they grabbed in the draft. That's the type of backup depth they need to support Wemby.I don't think you understood my point about the Spurs' need for a better backup. And i never claimed that it was their biggest offseason decision or need. Those are your assumptions not mine.
My main concern is with the head coach and his ability to "make it happen" as you say.
