Think about this. The Astros lost Kyle Tucker, Alex Bregman, and Yusei Kikuchi who was 5-1 with a 2.70 ERA after joining them last year. Yordan Alvarez has missed half the season so far and still isn't back. Spencer Arrigheti found himself after a terrible start last year and had 171 Ks in 145 innings as a rookie. He has missed virtually the entire season with a broken thumb. There are currently two pitchers in the rotation whose names I have never heard before being thrust into starting.
Alvarez and Tucker were 2 of the top 10 players in the American League, maybe 2 of the top 5. Without them Houston is still in first place.
'Stros are one of the shining stars in Texas pro sports. A bunch of no-names and they're 8-2 in the last 10 games and just streaking right now.
