I used the numbers from the rankings service in the OP like IDK, a sane person.
You can also use the composite rankings which the reasonable recruiting services include on their pages.
But none of that really matters because UT has recruited well for the better part of 70 years.

Trying to toss out a point-blank nonsense take that the one season they fired the staff and replaced them was a "down" season that they magically shot up due to being in the SEC is just goofy.
UT boosters had more money than any SEC schools' boosters before they joined. They were always going to rule in an NIL era as they did in their final Big 12 season.
They beat Bama in Bama 2 years before joining the SEC.
The benefit of going SEC was Conte told the boosters it had to be Sark way or the highway.
That allowed them to change the culture from booster babies as coaches who were in over the head but returned the right calls lickety split..

Texas has recruited well. They have NEVER had the #1 overall class until the 2025 class.. The SEC impact on recruiting is real. Heck, just look at A&M. They were out recruiting Texas just about every year after their move to the SEC.

Keep shifting the goalposts. Now you claim that since Texas never had the #1 class before its because they are in the SEC.
That is such garbage.
Recruiting is all about the coach and his staff.
NOT the conference.

No. I see you have a reading comprehension problem. Texas has never had the #1 overall recruiting class until 2025. That's a fact. Maybe it's just a coincidence.

you have a cognitive ability problem. Thinking that what conference you belong to has much effect at all on those who want to play in the NFL. They look at coaches first. Position and either offensive or defensive coaches. Who else is going there; how much competition there will be. Anyone thinking that a conference makes much difference to them is beyond dumb.
