You know it didn't dawn on me but I'm just curious why nobody in here and the Cowboys didn't think CJ Allen was we're taking at 23 I mean he is from the Ohio State could have been paired with Caleb Downs we need an off the ball linebacker I'm just curious of why he was still there?

But why can't we pass by players with injuries and those who need "development"? I remember drafting guys like Parsons and Martin, highly ranked players who are NFL-ready.

With the long wait to 92 tomorrow, I am wondering if the Cowboys make a package up to get back into the 2nd round?

Would a second be worth 92 and maybe two of the three 4ths? Not sure I wouldn't rather have volume with so many needs (LB, CB, NT, etc.) left.

Sounds like SF traded out of the 1st because they lost out on Lawrence, Thienenman, K. Concepcion and Rutledge.

That would be my leaning as well. I would prefer trading just one fourth but would be ok with it costing two. Maybe we could get a sixth back.

Jerry thinks they got Downs because of the Parsons trade. Never mind that it was our first-rounder we spent on Downs.

I think he was referring to the fact that they traded the 2 5th round picks to move up one spot to ensure we got Downs.

I really thought Seattle would have traded back. Price is nice but he ain't worth a first round pick. They only have 4 picks this entire draft. I really think if they dropped back 10-12 spots they would have easily got that same guy.
