Using current Tankathon rankings. Will the Texans have #1 at the end of the year? Highly unlikely but here we go.
1. Texans- QB Arch Manning, Texas... Stroud in last year of contract, might as well reset the rookie QB price window, besides O-line they don't have many needs. To high for O-lineman here with the talent available.
2. Titans- Edge Colin Simmons, Texas... Cam Ward has been a major disappointment this year. I doubt they give up on him this quickly though. Simmons is an easy decision here if your sticking with Ward.
3. Buccs- WR Jeremiah Smith, Ohio State... They locked into Baker with his new extension. They need a new X-WR to replace the hole left by Mike Evans. Getting the best player in the draft at 3 is good value and a no brainer.
4. Chargers- CB Leonard Moore, Notre Dame... Herbert has played like crap but they are stuck with that contract for a few years. Moore is the best player available and a position of need.
5. Dolphins- QB Dante Moore, Oregon... Top 3 elite players are gone. Malik Willis has been average and Dante don't have to start right away. He has the tools to be a franchise QB, he just needs to put it all together.
6. Jets- QB Darian Mensah, Miami... Elite accuracy and Football IQ push Mensah up the board. He doesn't have the massive arm or athleticism most top QB's have but those two elite traits are a blinking light.
7. Saints- DE Dylan Stewart, South Carolina... Red Flag for being immature and fighting with his coaches. The talent of the player makes you look the other way, he has the potential to be a top player in the NFL. Get him the help he needs for his mentals and this could be a steal of a draft pick, they deem it's worth the risk here.
8. Commanders- LT Jordan Seaton, LSU... Tunsil is with the team another year but he has become old and injury prone. Seaton is the best Pass Blocker in the draft and he can gain strength and improve his run blocking for a year.
9. Cardinals- QB Drew Mestemaker, Oklahoma State... Does Carson Beck really prevent you from drafting a player with this much potential. He could be the next Josh Allen. I don't think he declares this year but if he continues to play like he has been these past few weeks, he could be QB #1 in the draft.
10. Bengals- DT Will Echoles, Ole Miss... so far the Bengals have made a remarkable improvement on defense. A little more interior pressure and this rebuild could really round into form.
11. Jets- CB Ashton Hampton, Clemson... the Jets traded their #1 corner to the Colts, Sauce hasn't looked very good since. Hampton has been elite this year in college, he's stacking up the PBU's this year and will help an already stout defense.
12. Jets- WR Charlie Becker, Indiana... They already have a deep threat in AD Mitchell. Becker is just to good to pass on though. Mensah would be a kid in a candy store with Sadiq, Wilson, Mitchell and Becker as his options.
13. Steelers- CB Kelley Jones, Miss State... with the top QB's gone they choose to see what Allar can do next year at the helm. Jamel Dean looks like a stop gap option and Jones has been a menace this year, his length is giving WR's fits.
14. Cowboys- WR Cam Coleman, Texas... I think Dallas chooses to keep Porter Jr. over Pickens. They would need a new X-WR. Coleman has all the talent in the world. He needs to settle down and start showing out. I think he starts to show why he's so highly regarded as this college season moves forward.
15. Lions- S KJ Bolden, Georgia... any secondary help is a must and with the top corners gone, this is an easy decision for the Lions.
16. Eagles- OT Trevor Goosby, Texas... Lane Johnson is probably done after this year and Goosby has looked stellar this year. I think he makes the transition to RT look easy. Good value this far down the board.
17. Falcons- Edge Princewill Umanmielen, LSU... Falcons are distraught missing out on Goosby. The remaining OT depth is lacking so they pivot to Edge. Pearce Jr. situation is murky, this makes all the sense in the world.
18. Broncos- LB Sammy Brown, Clemson... the Broncos have a solid defense but the athleticism at linebacker is lacking and it's a cause for concern. Sammy steps in right away and squelches that problem.
19. Panthers- TE Jamari Johnson, Oregon... the Panthers have been looking for a field stretching pass catching TE for at least 5 years now and have failed miserably. Tremble is a fine all around #2 type and Waller is old.
20. Patriots- TE Treydez Green, LSU... Maye needs another weapon to make his offence scary good. Green might be the biggest weapon available.
21. Browns- QB CJ Carr, Notre Dame... Watson has looked a lot better than everyone expected but it's not enough to save him. The fanbase despises him. Carr only needs to be a bus driver with how this defense has been playing.
22. Browns- RT Trevor Lauck, Iowa... they need a RT to replace a really bad showing from Tytus Howard. Lauck has the mentality and smarts to learn the position. They've made a smaller OT work in Spencer Fano and they could just flip them and let Lauck stay at LT.
Trade- Raiders trade the 23rd pick and a 3rd next year for WR George Pickens. Pickens gives the Raiders a legitimate #1 WR to enhance an explosive offence even more. A nice safety blanket for Mendoza, once he gets on the field.
23. Cowboys- DT Devan Thompkins, Alabama... people will want an edge here. I think that Dallas will lean on the development of EZE and M-Law at edge along with Gary for another year. A trade for an Edge using 2028 capital might be in the mix in the off-season. Thompkins has been a revelation for the Tide this year, dominating games and making splash play after splash play. Kenny looks like he's on the decline. A good rotation at DT is paramount to keep this encouraging run D-fence in top form.
24. Seahawks- OG/OT Cayden Green, Missouri... I like him more at Guard. Seattle's biggest hole on the line is RG and Green would be an amazing fit for their scheme. If Lucas sucks it up at RT Green might be able to play there in a pinch.
25. Jaguars- RB Jadan Baugh, Florida... Tuten has looked ok but he's not a workhorse back like Baugh. The Jags have a really nice roster; not many holes. When you have that luxury make a luxury pick. Baugh is something his footwork is special for his size.
26. Bills- CB Ellis Robinson IV, Georgia... the Bills can't outscore everyone all the time. The Patriots just showed that. An upgrade to CB would help the D make enough of an effort to assist the offence every once in a while.
27. Giants- DT Justin Scott, Miami... talent at DT is subpar after trading Dexter away. They have a few veteran stop gaps but no real young talent at the position.
28. Bears- DT A'Mauri Washington, Oregon... they have a bunch of JAG's at DT and Jarrett isn't what he once was. Washington start right away and stiffens up that run defense.
29. Ravens- C Iapani Laloulu, Oregon... Ravens need a new Center after letting Linderbaum get away in FA. Laloulu is a physical run blocker. He's needed to help squeeze the last few drops out of Derrick Henry in his twilight years.
30. Vikings- S Kingston Lopa, California... Vikings need a replacement for all timer Harrison Smith. He is a young player that could use another year to work on his angles and tackling. If he decides to declare his size and ball skills at the position might be to much to pass on. Lopa is a definite riser so far this year coming out of nowhere.
31. Chiefs- WR- Nick Marsh, Indiana... they probably let Rashee Rice leave this off-season. He has become to injury prone. He is a very talented player, run after catch king. Nick Marsh is essentially the same player. He blocks very well and runs through everybody after the catch a nice replacement, with a smidge more size.
32. 49ers- T Niki Prongos, Stanford... the 49ers need to think about Trent Williams, retirement is fast approaching and Prongos has the movement skills to thrive in the niners wide zone scheme. He is still a work in progress but the traits are super intriguing.
Round 2
33. Titans- T Lance Heard, Kentucky... the Dan Moore experience has been sour, with a bad contract and bad play. Lance Heard has the size that the Titans covet on the Oline. He has insane arm length(37inches) and has shown he can handle SEC speed rushers. He could end up being a lot higher than I have him going here, by draft day.
34. Buccs- Edge Yhonzae Pierre, Alabama... Yaya Diaby is probably gone in FA. Buccs need an edge to pair with Bain. Pierre is good value at this spot.
35. Chargers- OL Greg Johnson, Minnesota... the Bolts should have a good Oline, it looks that way on paper anyways. They have fallen on rough times though. Johnson can fill in at any spot on the Oline and fix whatever needs fixed.
36. Dolphins- Edge Clev Lubin, Louisville... Chop has been alright but they need another guy. Uche looks washed up, they should have never let Jaelen Phillips leave.
37. Texans- C/G Kade Pieper, Iowa... when David Montgomery is having problems running behind this O-line, somethings wrong. Pieper can come in and stabilize a maligned O-line unit. He's a scrapper, won't have to worry about try with him.
38. Saints- Slot/S Zach Lutmer, Iowa... Kool-Aid and Quincy Riley have played alright this year. They need to play Sanker at SS and quit it with him in the nickel, he doesn't have the speed to hold up there. Lutmer is a versatile piece.
39. Commanders- WR Reed Harris, Arizona State... Finally, a running mate for Scary Terry. They took entirely too long to address the position and it really took a toll on the offence.
40. Cardinals- DE Will Heldt, Clemson... with Sweat throwing a tantrum trying to get out of dodge. This seems like a legitimate fit. Heldt is a well rounded end with a high floor.
41. Jets- LB Chris Cole, Georgia... linebacker has been a disappointing topic for Jets fans. Sherwood has turned into a pumpkin right after getting paid. It's stupid how often that's the case.
42. Colts- DE Kenyatta Jackson, Ohio State... Latu is fine but after him who is there. I can't believe they went into the season with such a glaring hole at the position. Arden Key is overrated.
43. Cowboys- LB Tony Rojas, Penn State... a linebacker that can fit gaps and cover. Dallas has been abused because Winters is a coverage linebacker that can't seem to cover anybody. Rojas is bigger, faster, stronger, smarter than Winters and you can't count on Overshown to ever be active during games. Big need! Good player! enough said!
44. Steelers- DT Ahmad Moten, Miami... you know who's getting old Cameron Heyward. Moten can come in and add some pass rush as a 3-tech in nickel looks. Yahya Black, Derrick Harmon and Moten seem like a good core rotation at DT.
45. Packers- RB Kewan Lacy, Ole Miss... with the Josh Jacobs uncertainty and the lack of any run game thus far, the Packers run the card to the podium.
46. Lions- CB Vicari Swain, South Carolina... biggest need for the Packers. Swain is very talented and a good punt returner. He is also a raw prospect. Swing for the fences with this pick and hope for the best.
47. Eagles- WR KJ Duff, Rutgers... Hurts has always been a mess of a QB. He misses his toss it up and hope targets that he got with AJ Brown. Duff will fill that role.
48. Falcons- T Elijah Paige, USC... Jake Matthews is getting long in the tooth and Jawaan Taylor hasn't ever really been a good player. Big need filled for the Falcons.
49. Broncos- TE Luke Reynolds, Virginia Tech... Reynolds is on fire this year. Evan Ingram has seen better days. The Joker position is still a thing with Davis Webb running the offence.
50. Bengals- CB OJ Frederique, Miami... the Bengals have DJ Turner and Dax Hill will be FA's after the season, they have some decisions to make here. OJ is injured but had stellar tape in 2025, we'll see if it wasn't just a flash in the pan. When he gets healthy.
51. Patriots- Edge Boubacar Traore, Notre Dame... you can never have enough edge rushers. Landry is always injured. I do like what I've seen from Gabe Jacas though.
52. Rams- OL Carter Smith, Indiana... the Rams have little to no depth on the Oline. Carter Smith is a solid tackle and can play there if needed. He will probably be solid at guard but his best position might be Center. He is just a solid piece that the Rams can and will probably need to utilize.
53. Panthers- CB Zabian Brown, Alabama... Mike Jackson is solid but he's a FA after the season. If they decide he cost to much, another physical Press-Man DB like Brown would be welcomed.
54. Raiders- DT David Stone, Oklahoma... Stone is underperforming all his hype. Undoubtable skills. A ball of clay that can grow with a young team. He might need another year in college. If he's still here the traits people will lose their minds.
55. Seahawks- WR Ryan Wingo, Texas... JSN is a phenom. Nobody else is reliable. Wingo can come in and take that WR2 mantle without any fight from the rest of the WR room.
56. Browns- DE Matayo Uiagalelei, Oregon... somebody who can set the edge but has the pass rush acumen to be a Robin to Jared Verse's Batman. Good value here Matayo is a solid player.
57. Bills- G Evan Tengesdahl, Cincinnati... Alec Anderson is currently a weak spot on the Bills O-line, posting mediocre numbers across the board. Tengesdahl comes in and takes that spot no problem. He's a mauler that can pair with Torrence and McGovern and plow a path for Cook or Allen, no problem.
58. Giants- T/G Samson Okunlola, Miami... he can come in and start for Runyan or Eluemunor, whichever they prefer leaving the leftover spot for Marcus Mbow.
59. Bears- DE Quincy Rhodes Jr., Arkansas... Rhodes year has been a huge disappointment. He's extremely talented and would fit Dennis Allen's scheme to a T. He loves the oversized edge rushers. Good value getting him here, if he played like he did in 2025 season; no way he would make it to 59.
60. Jaguars- S Tae Johnson, Notre Dame... his injury this year is hurting his draft stock. He has exceptional speed and agility for his size. Probably, the Jags biggest position of need. Good value but injury and position value push him down.
61. Ravens- DT Mi'Quise Humphrey-Grace, Kentucky... Calais Campbell despite what he's shown, won't play for ever. MHG is a monster. He has destroyed the SEC this year. If he keeps this play up, round 1 is in his future.
62. Vikings- QB Trinidad Chambliss, Ole Miss... Kyler Murry has looked average and they already traded away that waste of a 1st round pick in JJ McCarthy. Chambliss has a lot of deficiencies. Size, Age, sample size vs elite competition and he can get loose with the turnovers. Everyone will pick this kid apart. He's a gamer though and he has the arm and confidence to prove all these pitfalls wrong. Vikings shy away from another 1st round QB but figure why not, with the draft capital risk lower.
63. Chiefs- TE Terrance Carter, Texas Tech... Kelce should be a goner after this season. Carter has the most juice out of the entirety of this years draft class. Mahomes would love to hit the seam route with the speed this guy has, it could be a real problem for defenses.
64. 49ers- WR Deuce Alexander, Ole Miss... should go higher if he keeps doing what he's doing. The injuries the niners can sustain and still be good is admirable. The WR room gets pretty stacked when everyone is healthy but the deep speed Deuce has gives him a role and a dangerous one.
A lot of these players probably return to school for another year. Still a fun exercise to run. There're a few players I'm surprised didn't make the first two rounds, but it should narrow down a bit as the season and draft inch nearer.
1. Texans- QB Arch Manning, Texas... Stroud in last year of contract, might as well reset the rookie QB price window, besides O-line they don't have many needs. To high for O-lineman here with the talent available.
