i like your first 3 picks. but i think jarvis coudl be a 2nd and paul williams is fast and nice size but an underachiver. i like him though. ben grubbs in the 2nd seems good. and a guy from harvard? i jsut find it funny.

id like any of these guys in the first 3 rounds.
marshawn lynch, victor abiramiri, paul williams dwayne bowe, brandon merriwheater (bad character, but good athlete) ,marcus mccauley, chris houston, fred bennett. i know every draft seems to look like good talent but i really think this draft has good talent. rb, wr, lb/de tweener and corner wise.

Scouting Report on that RB Clifton Dawson from Harvard....

Overview
Harvard may not be known for cranking out football players any more, but Dawson is certainly the exception. He has already been drafted by the Toronto Argos of the CFL as Dawson is a native Ontarian. Toronto may have wasted a pick, though, as Dawson has what it takes to play Sundays in the NFL.

During his senior season, he broke the career Ivy League rushing record held by Ed Marinaro.

He originally enrolled at Northwestern and redshirted his freshman year before transferring to Harvard.

Strengths
Clifton Dawson possesses power and speed, two attributes that are wanted in a RB regardless of the league he plays in. He has excellent vision and can hit holes quickly. He's a patient runner who allows his linemen to block and then he chooses the path of least resistance. He's a tough runner who has avoided injury. He doesn't fumble. He's also a very good kick returner, having averaged more than 23 yards a return over his career. He's only returned 6 kicks in the past two years, but 2 of them have gone for TDs.

Weaknesses
Dawson has gained all of his yards and scored all of his touchdowns against some dubious defenses, although, to his credit, his line doesn't do a whole lot for him either.

Projection
Dawson could really surprise people and hear his name called as early as the 4th round, although it is more likely that he'll be drafted in the 5th or 6th rounds of the 2007 NFL Draft.

Per Condraft.com

Ive seen some tape on him and he looks impressive. I doubt we draft him but maybe just maybe we do...

i really like where we are with our WR's right now..granted owens and glenn will both be 33 by the time the season starts..but i'm real excited about hurd and miles austin in particular...we all know what crayton can do and he could even become our #2 in a year or two...biggest draft needs in this order IMO..

1. DE/OLB (excels in pass rushing)
2. OG - Rivera needs to go
3. DT - Fergy had a great year but he's getting older and we need good depth behind the position and someone who would be ready to take over when Fergy retires
4. CB - this will be a greater need if we do indeed move Henry to safety..you figure any corner is going to struggle in this league due to the 5 yard rule so you can pick up a decent corner in the 3rd or 4th round (wasn't henry a 4th round pick?)
5. FS - the more pressure we can apply on the quarterback, the easier job it's going to be for the FS, thats why i put the position so low on the list..i like what i saw from watkins and you gotta hope he'll progress with another offseason conditioning program..but it wouldn't hurt to bring someone in to compete with him cause lets face it, killer keith may be gone next year

thoughts?

I believe its wide open as to who we will draft in the first round. I could really see us taking Best Player Available. But heres my latest mock. Taking Jarvis Moss in the 1st round would make so much sense to me. He's this years Manny Lawson only stronger.

1st Round: DE/OLB Jarvis Moss, Florida
2nd Round: OG Ben Grubbs, Auburn
3rd Round: WR Paul Williams, Fresno St.
4th Round: QB Kevin Kolb, Houston
5th Round: FS Dashon Goldson, Washington
6th Round: RB Clifton Dawson, Harvard
7th Round: NT Antonio Johnson, Mississippi St.

HI-5 my man........that is a very nice mock...but I will change it up just a tad ok...

1 - Moss
2 - Grubbs
3 - Williams
4 - CB Travarous Bain Hampton
5 - LB Zac DeOssie Brown
7 - C Lyle Sendlein Texas
7 - Dawson
7 - OL Ed McCarthy Yale
