Have you watched any OkieSt games Catch? He does have the measurables and looks great in a tank top, but the dude is lazy and takes plays off. He allows himself to get blocked, unlike a Bosa, etc. Those type of players scare me! But if Marinelli and Lett sign off I'm good with it.

I admit I haven't watched him a lot.. I didn't start looking at him until yesterday.

Based on what I've seen I think he is worth the 34th pick.

Fish this morning said a team told him that they had a 1st round grade on him so we'll see.

Zeke was alright but not high priority. This second day needs to address the issues that will keep the Cowboys from being 8-8. The defense is still the most demanding issue but there are some value players to fill these issues. I for one see the DT position to rush the passer in the center as the most important player to use the 34th pick on. then corner, DE, DT , OLB (a pass rusher), then best player available.

A' Shawn Robinson - DT
Jarran Reed - DT
Kevin Dodd - DE
Noah Spence - DE
Su'A Cravens - OLB
Myles Jack - OLB

These would go a long way to making the Cowboy defense a top 10 and getting the Cowboys into the playoffs. CB is a position that I believe is thin and to rich for the Cowboys to pick until the 4th round or later. The QB position looks to have only backups available and should not be a priority to the 4th round or later. From the 4th round back I believe the Cowboys should take the best player available no matter what position that is.

I like these guys...
Myles Jack
Nohah Spence
K. Fuller
Reggie Ragland*
Tyler Boyd
Michael Thomas

Love Su'a but his speed is very concerning

* heart health concerns?

Dodd or Bullard would make me happy and both did a pre draft visit so there is interest there.

I though I had heard somewhere that Jack was removed from the board because of medical.

I like Ragland or Ogbah, Reed, Robinson, I would be Ok with any of them. Will be disappointed if it's Cook as I would just as soon try to get Prescott if he is around in the 3rd. I do think if Jack is there in round two they should roll the dice and take him.

Jack seems worth the risk. If he makes it 3 years and then his knee falls apart its a steal of a pick.

The word that I've seen from various scouts indicate that he's merely somewhat raw and still learning but not lazy as some believe but rather a hard and willing worker. I think Marinelli would get him straightened out.

I am hoping for Noah Spence. I think he is clean and can be trusted to stay that way.

I'm reading he's been clean for quite some time now, according to what many are saying nowadays. He's also reportedly the most prolific pass rushing talent in the entire draft class.

The FO might be fairly willing to take a chance that they're right, given his terrific pass rushing abilities. As badly as the Cowboys need someone of his ilk, they may well be after him.

My day two predictions. We will be told that our third round pick had a 1st rd grade just like Terrance Williams. We will be told that the reason we didn't improve the secondary is because Carr and Church are going to have great years and Claiborne is getting closer to realizing his potential. We will be told that making the one FA acquisition of consequence at the DT position was a wise one despite the long list of talented DT's available. We will be told that the DE we draft was rated higher than Bosa on our board and we will be told that the RB that we drafted is worth 1550 points more than the RB's available in the 4th like Perkins, Williams and Prosisse.
