As a cowboy fan, and someone who lives close to the area so that they show the steelers games.

I just can not for the life of me figure out how a Cowboys fan, would have any of the following teams as it's second favorite.

Steelers
Skins
Eagles
Packers
49ers

Not ragging on you, so don't take it that way.

But as a Cowboys fan IF I did have second favorite team now, it would without a doubt not be one of those listed teams.

yeah, I can never imagine either. On a game basis, say, if Steelers were playing Skins, maybe my loyalty would shift to Steelers than Skins, thats about it.

Since they drafted DeAngelo Williams the Panthers have become my second favorite team.

I don't know if that makes me have a 2nd favorite team.

But I do know I when they were on I watched the Jets to see Pennington, The Jags to see Leftwich and they showed plenty of Vikings games so I got to see Moss play a bunch.

I do enjoy watching other games and rooting for a specific player.

If you put it that way I guess I don't really have a 2nd favorite team just fav players.

No second favorite team, but I watch as much NFL football as I possibly can. I guess if I had to choose a team, I'd go with the Raiders (my father's team). I've always liked their logo, haha.

I like to watch NFC East football. If the Boys aren't on I'll watch any of the other three.

I love the game, but don't really have a 2nd favorite team. There are players I enjoy watching. The idea of rooting for any other team is foreign to me. I suppose I root for the teams who can help the Cowboys the most, but that is a week by week thing. There's no loyalty to any other team that is constant enough to be called a 2nd favorite. I don't even grasp the concept.

I don't have a real 2nd favorite but with Sunday Ticket at least I can watch the best matchups. After the Cowboy game is over. I also have never turned off the channel during a Cowboys game regardless of the score same when I go to the stadium, I have never left a game until 0:00 is on the clock no matter the score of the game. Win or Lose but always a Cowboys fan!!!!

Living as I do in Houston, I root for the Texans (except, of course, when they're playing the Cowboys).

I have no second team, but Carson Palmer and Larry Fitz are fun to watch.

How can you do that? I admit when I moved to Houston in the late 60's I pulled for the Oilers for a short time but when I saw how much hatred Houston fans had for Dallas I could not bring myself to cheer for that team

When its the bye week or any other week for those of us who don't have Direct tv who do you all like to watch?

Me i like watching the Baltimore Ravens just due to there defense, i can't stand there cocaine dealing running back though

Brah if u watch the Ravens then u know what happen with JAMAL LEWIS... It was a girl who he liked, who pretened to like him, asked him to set up a deal with a dealer to further her career! I'm not saying it was right but I'm saying it was dumb... i'm not going to hold that against him just because he wanted to hook up with some chick!

But back to your topic... I watch the RAVENS too!!! I lived in B-more most of my life and had season tix to the Ravens the first 2 years... Me and my buddies used to leave the game in the 3rd to watch the Boys game at home!

It's hard to explain. The short answer would be that I don't hate the Texans because I don't consider them to be a rival. I direct my hostility towards Wash., Philly and the Giants, not some team the Cowboys play once every four years.

Plus, although I was born and raised in Dallas (Highland Park), I've lived here for so long that I consider myself a Houstonian. The NFL is the only pro sport where I would say my favorite team isn't from H-Town.

I understand what your saying and when I 1st moved here I pulled for the Oilers for the same reason. I live in the City of Houston and Houston was AFC only facing them once in a while. What got me was how much the local media in Houston hates Dallas as well as many Houston fans which was the reason I learned to really dislike the Houston team and loved seeing the locals watch that team fail at every turn. Best 1 was the Houston/Buffalo game, I still laugh my ars off when I think how they blew that game. :lmao2:
