I live in WV so they play plenty of Browns, Steelers and Bengals Game.

When I was young I used to like and watch the browns as well.

As a youngster I thought Brian Sipe was cool...did I mention I was young:laugh1:

Sipe was like a God here. And still loved to this day.

Red Right 88...

I always Loved Greg Pruitt and his Tear Away Jersey's. Had his poster on my wall.

Met him a the Mall once and he was very nice to me

I understand what your saying and when I 1st moved here I pulled for the Oilers for the same reason. I live in the City of Houston and Houston was AFC only facing them once in a while. What got me was how much the local media in Houston hates Dallas as well as many Houston fans which was the reason I learned to really dislike the Houston team and loved seeing the locals watch that team fail at every turn. Best 1 was the Houston/Buffalo game, I still laugh my ars off when I think how they blew that game. :lmao2:

I was never an Oiler fan (a better description would be "amused observer" ), but I can't say I enjoyed that game. I watched it with a bunch of my Oiler fan buds, and they were so crushed that I couldn't help but feel bad for them. The fact that the Cowboys went on to win it all that year only made it that much worse.

Hey I know your pain...:)

My wife and all the In-laws are Michigan Fans...Father In-Law is a Michigan Alum.

When Cooper was here it was a NIGHTMARE I tell you.

It's really crazy if you think about it because Copper had a Great winning percentage and was a Great Recruiter...BUT as you know he just couldn't Beat that Team Up North!

They would not like me. LOL...... I watched the game with my dad and he was so frustrated with the Oiler winning by such a large margin he walked out only coming back in the room every now and then. Each time Buffalo scored I told him here comes the great come back and before I knew it, the great come back was actually taking place. I was hell to deal with at work the next day with my co-workers who were all Oiler fans. :lmao2: Dallas going on to win the SB that year proved me correct because when I was getting hell during the 1-15 season so I made the bold statement that Dallas would win a SB before Houston and in the end we won 3 SB and the Oilers were gone. :lmao2: Good times, good times. :lmao2:

As odd as it might be, the Giants. When I was young and lived in Montreal, I often got the Giants' game early and the Cowboys' game late.

Of course, the Giants are wayyyyyyyy behind the Cowboys for me.

Probably the Packers and only because they're sort of the "anti" big city team. Small town atmosphere and great fans.

Nah, that's really not my style. But if someone else wants to do so I certainly couldn't stop them ... :)

Packers are my EXTREMELY distant 2nd favorite team. Born in Wisconsin, still have family friends there, started following the Packers shortly after I fell in love with the Cowboys (when I was 7).

But it honestly doesn't bother me much at all when the Packers lose... I have buddies who are Packer fans who HATE the Cowboys, so it gives me something to rub in their faces when the Pack suffer.

The Browns by a mile. One of the 5 Cowboys games I have attended in my life was the season opener against Cleveland in 1991. The fans in Cleveland were amazing. They barked at us in our Cowboy jackets but actually turned out to be pretty friendly. Dallas spanked them that game but I actually felt for the Browns' fans. They've been through some hard times and were the last fans in the world to deserve what Art Modell did to them. They also had some extremely cool players back in the day: Webster Slaughter, Bernie Kosar, Hanford Dixon, Frank Minifield.

I also have to say the Browns....I became a Browns fan in the cardiac kids era, with Sipe, Newsome etc...

They are a distant second and are not even close to the Boys but I usually will watch them if they are not playing at the same time as Dallas

I know some traditionalists will groan at this, but my fantasy football team has a lot to do with who else I like. Since in general I don't care much about any other team, if there's a game on that has no Cowboys implications I root for the teams my players are on. Last year I had Palmer and LT, so I liked those teams. The year before I had Manning so I was really rooting for him to break that TD record.

what I hate most is when Cowboy fans say that the 1-15 season they got soo much grief!!! to me the 1-15 season was great... I talked trash to all my buddies, they laughed at me but I stiil had a reason to be positive!

Irvin, Aikman and Jimmy... come on that was a trio of pure winnners!!! I loved LANDRY didnt know a thing about JERRY but at the time I was too young to undersand Landrys greatness, I was about winning so I could laugh at my buddies who all took up the SKINS and 9ers when the Colts rolled out!

I wish just once a Cowboy fan would say "that 1-15 season was bad but the 3-13 season bout killed me".... all u old Boys fan know what I'm talking about! 87 wasnt that bad because the strike year most (non scab) Cowboys played (including Randy and Danny White) but in 88 this team had ZERO signs of improvement except a draft pick and a hurt WR (Damn I wish I still had that poster of him my room)!!!

I never talk about the 1-15 season because that season was cake/upside compared to the 3-13 season the year before! the 88 was the 01 season just with no free agency!

I can go on but I dot wanna make some of u old guys breakin out the Scotch, its only Tuesday!!!

I agree with you but it was still rough going into work after another loss and catching hell from folks who really hate the Cowboys. I always felt it would get turned around and in some ways the 1-15 made the SB runs even better because you knew many of the players on that team went through this together.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers. I can't remember what year it was 82 maybe 83 but the Cowboys were playing the Bucs at home and everyone in the house was talking about how bad the Cowboys were going to kill them. Well, the Boys ended up winning on a last second fieldgoal by Septien.

They perrenially sucked, but they earned my respect that day and I adopted them as my ugly step-child team (second favorite) and stuck with em ever since (unless they were playing the Cowboys) I still actually have some of that ugly ***ed orange and red paraphanelia laying around somewhere. I'll be rooting for Roy to rip Galloway's head off in our meeting, but I'll root for them from then on until they start making an impact on the play-off seeding. Then I have to root for whoever is going to help the Cowboys. I have a feeling that the Bucs will be right in the mix again, though.
