I think we probably beat the odds there but it did work out. I think the odds would favor 2nd and goal from the 9 but it does depend on your D.

Right. Reminded me of a low stakes blackjack dealer bust win. Dealer showed 8 up, and you hold on 14. Made no sense to play it that way, but hey- it worked out.

Well, it ended up being 2nd and 11 so they made the right decision...

Yes and no. Another snap was sacrificed and thus more chance for a defensive error on the next.

More proof Garrett still doesn't know what the **** he is doing. Even when we got a sack and it was a twelve yard loss it took for ever for us to decline a holding penalty. Very weird situation between the refs and Garrett and all the time it took, it was as if the refs weren't sure what he was going to do. The guy is a ******* moron that went to Princeton. Book smart but street idiot.

Was going to mention this. Garrett was in all out freeze mode, face getting redder by the second. Sideline help saved the day.

I swear an 11 yr old kid with a PlayStation controller in hand has AS GOOD in game mgmt. skills as the current HC of the most visible professional football team on the planet.
