I think this one gives Marinelli enough toys to play with:

1) OLB DEE FORD, AUBURN (would be better is Boys could trade down and still get Ford or Ealy)
2) S JIMMIE WARD, NORTHERN ILLINOIS
3) DT WILL SUTTON, ARIZONA STATE
4) DE WILL CLARKE, WVU
5) CB WALT AIKENS, LIBERTY
7) DE ETHAN WESTBROOKS, WEST TEXAS A&M
7) OT JUSTIN BRITT, MISSOURI
7) DT KERRY HYDER, TEXAS TECH
7) DE AARON LYNCH, USF
7) RB LADARIUS PERKINS, MISSISSIPPI STATE
7) ILB ANDREW JACKSON, WESTERN KENTUCKY

Nickel/situational pass rusher in Ford, ballhawking S in Ward, 3 technique DT in Sutton, big developmental DE in Clarke, big athletic and fast CB in Aikens, pass rushing DE in Westbrooks, T/G depth in Britt, 1 technique DT in Hyder, pass rushing DE in Lynch, RB depth in Perkins and ILB depth in Jackson. I like it!!

I like that you did your own thing and are very knowledgeable, realistically about players and where they could go.

But I don't see 1 BPA other than Sutton in the 3rd cause he may go in the 2nd. I would scoop him in the 3rd but not the 2nd as some are suggesting he will go.

Lynch in the 7th is not bad either.

Well, according to the fanspeak big board (which may or may not be correct), many of the picks are BPA. But that's the fallacy with these mock simulators. You, and every other team, are working off of the same big board. That's not realistic, as every team has its own draft board and values players differently. One conclusion I've reached by running the simulator many times is that this draft is deep in DTs and DEs, which is a good thing.

I know th D is horrid, but I don't think the first 6 picks will be defensive picks, there's probably better Offensive Line talents available in the 4th than Clarke.

Yes.....they need depth on the interior o-line. There are some good C/G candidates in the 3rd round or so. I've taken them in other mocks.....the guy from USC.....forgot his name. And Justin Britt has been mentioned as a player of interest to the Boys......took him in the 7th.

They have literally Zero depth at OG and there is not much available in free agency. If they don't take an OG relatively early, I don't know what they going to do in terms of a backup.

Unless they draft a guard in the first 3 or 4 rounds I am betting we see Brian Waters back again.

As of a month or two ago, he had not had the surgery that would be required for him to play again. He is 37 and did what you would expect of a 37 year old previous Pro Bowl player. He played well for a short stretch and then got injured.

It's more likely that they sign somebody like Davin Joseph than Waters.

Making any decision in May based on having Waters back would be foolish.
