Eagles and Rams are 3-4, and the Chargers are only 4-3. Care to explain what your criteria is saying a one win difference makes a team good or bad?

Here's another thing. If the Cowboys lost to the Eagles and Rams, they would be 4-3 respectively meaning that the Cowboys are 0-5 vs good to undefeated teams?

The Chiefs have only beaten one team with a winning record: Cowboys. Oh but they must be frauds right?

The eagles and rams are bad.
Yes, The chiefs are frauds. Watch them finish 9-7 or 10-6

I don't think some posters take this into account. The losses have been out of the conference. The division comes first, then deal with that pesky other conference. Take care of them in the SB if the Cowboy can get there.

As another posted, we cannot overlook anyone at anytime. Det can beat us and even badly. As we can them. If we get thru this one healthy and with a win I'll dance a little jig...privately.

That is one big reason why I'm not especially concerned about Detroit (although I hope the team is). By being undefeated in the division we own the tie-breakers over everyone and our 4-0 result in the conference leaves us in decent shape there too-even if we drop one-given the poor record of the NFC overall this year.

Given the above we're effectively 2-4 games ahead of the rest of the East right now and still in good shape in most wildcard scenarios even with a loss and even if we didn't have the division lead.

I know one thing, if we get a big lead we'd better not sling the ball around like we did last time against Detroit. We were killing them. They couldn't stop our offense at all. Then we got silly. I don't believe in being too conservative, but we literally "threw" the game away last time.

To be fair, if you take Dallas as being "average", which is a pretty common sentiment.......doesn't that sort of explain itself?

I get what you're saying but if you're looking for the record to make a conclusive decision on which team is good or bad only 7 weeks into the season, you're probably gonna miss quite a bit. How early would you be willing to do these comparisons? 2-3 versus 3-2? All you can really see right now is the extremes of the scale just by looking at record.

3-0 in division and a NY win puts everyone in our division with the exception of us at 2 losses.

Have a friend who is a Cowboys fan that told me today that the Cowboys are like a female, gets your hopes all up just to let you down later.

Unfortunately I keep falling for it, but I sincerely hope we can continue our good play this time through all the injuries and really make some noise after this decent start for our division.
